Embossing Starter Kit: Wow Heat Tool Machine, Emboss It Pens, Wow Gold, Silver, Platinum and Copper Powder Set

I'm still a novice at cardmaking. I was given an older Sizzix Big Shot from a friend when she was given a new one for her birthday. I've mainly been focusing on using the stamp and die sets and learning how to use coloured pencils. I had only seen the heat embossing onto cards on Youtube and Pinterest. My husband surprised me with this tool for Xmas. Couldn't contain my excitement, I immediately broke open the package to try it. The instructions are very detailed about the safety and use of the tool. I followed the instructions and went to work. The ease of this tool to use and the results that I achieved were beautiful. I have only used it to highlight around the edges of the subject matter of the card. So, I haven't moved on to using stamps with it yet, but; WOW! it was fun.I did have a problem of leaving the heat on a spot too long. This caused a bit of a discoloration of the paper, but I was able to blend over the spot. You have to be very attentive to what you are doing. This tool does get HOT. Therefore, caution should be used whenever the tool is in use. But the results are a wonderful adding to any card or craft you maybe creating.

Just started getting into embossing and this set is perfect the price and quality are great. Can wait to get some projects done.
