I bought this to repair a hole in a very comfortable pair of shoes that I didn't want to have to replace. I decided to wait until the repair failed before writing the review and I repaired the shoe 6 months ago. I think that is a pretty good result. I paid around £15 for the tube of Shoe Goo and I have only used a tiny fraction of the tube to repair the hole. I have just re-repaired the hole and look forward to another 6 months of use for a few pennies of Goo. See photoThe Goo is very easy to apply. Rough the surface with sandpaper or equivalent and I put some sticky tape on the inside of the hole to keep the Goo on the outside. The Goo is a thick sticky consistency, so self levels on the surface but without running off the shoe. Very easy to apply. I left the goo for a good 24 hours to harden and then sanded to remove the shine and to level the surface.I would highly recommend this product at least for repairing holes in shoes.

Absolutely brilliant on my lexan body Rc trucks, leaves no white residue ( unlike super glue ) easy to remove by just peeling away but very strong also.My go to glue now.

I used this to glue back the soles on a pair of berghaus boots, which had come away from the uppers and to seal some splits on the leather uppers. The glue has held so far and kept the repairs waterproof. However it’s messy.There is no way to cleanly apply the glue, due to the width of the tube opening. Fine for large area of use, but not so for smaller areas. It works… but can be messy.

The entire sole came off my hiking sandal, and Evo-Stik didn't fix it. Impressed by the reviews of Shoo Goo, I tried it. Weird instructions about "spritzing" with water, but seems to work (I dragged my finger across the bristles of a wet nail brush). It spreads further than you think (much further than Evo-Stik, and some squidged out the sides of the join) and I think it's important to hold the join together for a day, but it gave a strong and flexible fix for a very rugged shoe.Highly recommend.I even repair the mouse-nibbled HT lead on a tractor with it!

Great, stuck complete sole back on..

As a skateboarder, I’ve used Shoe Goo for years to repair my skate shoes. I can quickly destroy a pair in less than two weeks, especially in the summer. Shoe Goo allows me to extend the life of my skate shoes by another few weeks, which saves me from going broke from buying shoes all the time.Over the years, I’ve been satisfied with Shoe Goo, but they changed their formula. The previous formula could repair and dry a skate shoe in less than a day, allowing you to fix damages after a skate session and have the pair ready to go again the next day.With the new formula, the glue would still be wet and not fully set even after 48 hours of drying. If you only have 1 pair of skate shoes in rotation, you’re stuck waiting for it to dry.Overall, the product works as intended, but be mindful of drying time.

I have been using Shoe goo for some years now and very happy. It seems a little expensive for what it is but results are what I need. Take care not to screw the cap on too tight after use or it just sticks to the metal screw thread. Keep in a cool dry place or it can harden with age, otherwise it keeps well.

This is the only brand u need, no dupe. Too hard to get sometimes and very expensive! But it does the job better than any other brand. Very very durable! I used for RC craft purpose & it’s still holding up! Very easy to use with right tools and implementations. Use safely as it is a glue. Extremely flexible, can be messy if overused or used wrong so use as instructed or use cautiously. Very versatile product. Always have a large tube to hand, you never know. Sadly not sold in any UK shop so thanks Amazon!
