5 star review although on delivery and unpacking I was a tad disappointed at the size of the 30 litre initially.I had to check the images again as it looked much bigger and yep, the majority of the pics have the bag photoshopped onto people that make it look BIG, or the people modelling it are actually from "The Borrowers" books. < Tad dramatic and I missed the actual measurements further down the page which are in fact correct.However..........the 5 star review is for a good reason!I used to always go with Karrimor and have two small, light packs which cost double the price each hence bought this for more space and to test out why the reviews are so good in general. It's built VERY well! Also, you can fit a lot of things inside as you can loosen off the side straps to give it some good expansion inside the main compartment (both of my smaller Karrimors are in it right now until I am out next)......and the Molle is well sewed into the pack and strong, so even more things can be strapped to it with bungees as well and I would trust the pack to hold it.The best bit! It does come with the yank tac patch, but this is only held on by velcro so you can immediately rip it off and bin it which I did as well.The shoulder straps aren't cushioned much which might be uncomfortable if worn for long periods of time but nowhere near as hard as a burgans.Overall, 5 stars, this is an excellent pack!

Bought this to replace my Vans backpack which had worn through the fabric and had a massive tear in the top of it. I just wanted something a similar size to my previous bag that wouldn't fall apart, didn't have a dedicated laptop section (not needed) and didn't cost the earth. While looking at all the options I decided that I also wanted a velcro area for 'cool patches or something' that I could add on later.This bag arrived packed flat in a clear plastic bag. It took a day or so for it to properly unflatten. All the seams appear to be sturdy and there was just one little bit of excess thread on one of the zip flaps which easily trimmed off. There's plenty of space inside the main compartment for all the random bits and bobs I carry around for no reason, and enough space for a bit of grocery shopping to fit as well.The elastic net pockets on the sides are a little tight so don't fit (500ml) bottles into them very easily if the main compartment is full, but they hold my gloves which I like to stash in them for easy access. There's a pocket on the back bottom with a small net 'window', which I personally have found very fiddly to access - it unzips but then it's a fight to get the zip aligned correctly to fasten it back up, so it goes largely unused. It also seems that this pocket takes from the main compartment's space as when I have the bag full it pinches in around the bottom somewhat, making it difficult to really fill the bag properly. There's two front zipped compartments as well, the larger of which has a small zipped area inside it as well, making it a good spot to stash things a little more safely.Overall it's been comfy to wear so far and can carry a lot of stuff, it was a good purchase. If you're intending to use it in all weather I would consider investing in a rain cover maybe as I'm pretty certain it's at best shower-proof.

Great value used for rucksack on holiday. Can't fault it

I bought this backpack to use for the gym and swimming. When I unwrapped the pack the first thing I saw was the middle zip had come apart in the middle, the zips are sticky and not very strong. The material is very stiff to start but does loosen up after a bit of use and I guess with price you can only expect these things. Overall not bad but the zips are not good!

Mainly, I wanted a waterproof backpack as this one was advertised in the heading. It is definitely not waterproof. The item tore at the seams in several places and tore all the way through making holes and compromising its integrity. Not very durable. It also faded from green/tan camo to pinkish/tan camo. I never washed it as I was afraid of losing the water proofness (which didn't exist anyway). The side mesh pockets were too shallow and stretched too much to hold a full water bottle securely.
