Not chewy
I didn't like the texture - it was not elastic and chewy. I tried in a stir fry (soaking, then stir frying) and in thai red curry noodle soup by putting dry noodles directly in soup as I usually do with How How brand 5mm rice sticks (with unsweetened coconut milk from Urban Platter- they have a 3 pack deal). The How How rice sticks are chewy both in stir fry and noodle soup - but Star Lion vermicelli were not. Not buying again.No doubt this is authentic but some Thai vermicelli are not chewy - this is one of them. Check out Hot Thai Kitchen in Youtube if you are interested in technicalities.

Absolutely Amazing
I love these noodles! I usually make Singaporean noodles with shrimps and chicken and it's amazing. Tastes great, doesn't break if you boil it according to the instructions. The only thing is theyre a lot expensive than the normal noodles available in the market so I do wish they were more affordable.
