Roland Crash Cymbal (CY-8)

had less than a month and already having to contact Assurion about the warranty as it's not working right, but they directed me to Amazon for the proper procedure and got new one keep in drumming!

I bought this used through a third party seller and was very worried that it would not work as well as the same CY-8 cymbals that I bought new. I bought this for half of the price of a new cymbal and it came in with little to no wear and tear and works just as good as any of my newer cymbals I have! I would definitely recommend if you don't feel like pitching out the extra money for a brand new cymbal.

Have been using Roland drums for over 29 years. this newer cymbal tech is pretty cool. Has some natural movement to it and works... thanks for the deal!

I bought two of these for my TD30-KV (to take up the two open AUX inputs I had available). One is used for a china, the other for a splash. I wanted something "good" but economical, and these nailed it. I am a firm believer that nothing can be "perfect", as that would not allow for improvements. So for anyone else giving a review, I'd say they'd probably give it 5 stars. But I think 4 is about as low as they should go for quality and price. ;)

Added this to my TD-25KV. I don’t like it as much as the ride cymbals with the bell sensor. This one is one sensor so less capability but it works really well to add as a splash, china or crash cybal

I was happy to find this exact replacement cymbal for my older Roland e-drum set. The cymbal arrived in new packaging and I didn't see any signs of it being used or refurbished. Connected right up and works like a champ. I'm very happy with this purchase and will certainly buy again if another cymbal goes out!

The stereo cable and manual was not in the package I received. According to the listing, they were supposed to be included.

I’m glad these were not the Malaysian ones which originally came with the td17 kit and only last one or two years. I saw the “made in China ” imprint in the product’s pictures which made me hope these would be the older ones that are still working today according to many people. Fingers crossed they last “long time”

Is what it is. Replacement for a cymbal pad that was only triggering intermittently. Did the job.
