When I saw that this SSD was getting a 4.6 after 11K reviews, I decided to try it with an external Ugreen USB SSD enclosure plugged into a mini pc with USB3. The drive was easy to install. Using it this way makes it plug & play.I am using this setup with a program called Plex to record TV shows and movies that will remove the commercials. I am recording the entire series of TV shows like NCIS, Stargate SG-1, Twilight Zone, etc and storing them on this drive. I can then stream them anywhere I get internet. This drive is FAST.

I have purchased 20-25 SP SSDS's over the years and none have failed me. These NVME SSD's are perfect for a budget build. No need for a heatsink on the gen 3's. And the speed difference from gen 3 to gen 4 or even 5 is negligible in real world time.

So far so good. Used as a back up NVME in the second slot on the mobo. Only time will tell but this thing is fast fast.

Good budget storage has ok performance like downloading speed and is easy to use since I have bought it nothing has gone wrong so lifespan is good and it fits in every build.

On Linux this was actually easier to make partitions than my old one. On Windows the storage being used to access it is also good just a few GB's. Easy to use and functions well. Might upgrade to 1TB if I keep getting more games.

For the price, this can't be beat. It's a outstanding SSD that you'll wish you'd purchased two of.
