My Go-To PLA for Everyday Prints
This has been my go-to brand for PLA for a while now. It prints clean, sticks well to the bed, and I’ve never had any clogging issues. Just load it up and let it run—no drama, no babysitting. The spool feeds smoothly and the quality is super consistent across prints. I’ve used it for everything from small detailed parts to larger functional prints, and it’s never let me down.Pros:Clean, reliable printingNo clogs or feed issuesGreat consistency and qualityCons:None that I’ve run into yetIf you’re looking for a solid, no-nonsense PLA that just works, this is the one.

great value, function, form
Been running this OVERTURE black PLA through my Ender for a couple weeks now and honestly, it's been cruisin smooth. First off, it feeds like butter. No jams, no weird tangles, none of that headache mess that can pop up with cheaper filament. I just loaded it up and forgot about it. Which is kind of the dream right? The print quality is real decent too. Layers go down nice and even, like pancakes if you got a steady hand. I been making some functional stuff like tool holders and a couple decorative bits just to test it, and the surface finish came out clean. Not super glossy but not chalky either, just that nice in between look that doesn't scream “homemade” in a bad way.Color's solid too. It’s not that washed out gray black some spools give you. This one’s a true black, deep and consistent all the way through. Doesn’t fade out halfway through a print like I’ve had with other rolls. Definitely passes the eyeball test.Cardboard spool’s kinda whatever to me. Some folks get all excited about the eco friendly angle but I just care if it spins right and it does, so no complaints there. One tiny thing, it does like a little extra first layer squish. If you're used to fuss-free filaments, just keep that in mind. Once I dialed the z-offset in a touch lower, it stuck like a dream.Honestly, for a basic filament it punches above its weight. Great for everyday prints, prototypes, even some cosplay parts if you're painting after. If you're not trying to get all experimental with fancy materials and just want something reliable that won't drive you nuts, this is the one.

Excellent Print Quality and Eco-Friendly Packaging
I’ve used several PLA brands over the years and OVERTURE continues to impress. This black PLA prints beautifully with great adhesion, smooth layers, and minimal stringing even on detailed prints. The dimensional accuracy is very consistent, and I haven’t had a single clog or jam in my Ender 3 or Prusa MK3S Plus. One thing I really appreciate is the cardboard spool. It’s sturdy, recyclable, and doesn’t warp like some plastic spools. The filament is also wound cleanly with no tangles from start to finish.Highly recommend this filament to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality PLA. Whether you are printing hobby models or functional parts, this filament delivers consistent and professional results.

I'd Buy This Again
This was my first experience with Overture and I grabbed it for the price. I'm impressed with it's performance though, it was really surprising. The color was deep and uniform, and there was no warping. My only real complaint is that my cardboard spool was all dinged so I had to fuss with it to make the AMS play nice. If you see it at a good price, I say pick it up. I typically use Sunlu just because it's easy to order and a decent price, but I'll buy this instead if the price is competitive.

I personally love this brand.
While you'll inevitably get different result with different filaments in different printers, using this with my Anycubic Kobra Max has resulted in less print failures than any other PLA brand I've used to date. I'm extremely happy with it.(I find it works best if you heat the nozzle to 215 for the first layer then 190 for the rest. 70 then 50 for the bed).

Great Filament at a Great Price.
Love this brand and had a great experience with this filament. No bad prints, no deformities or defects, no adhesion issues, no stringy spaghetti piles, no foul odors, and the color matches what you see in the spool. Looks great, feels great, and has a price that is very easy to live with.
