Minelab GO-FIND 11 Ultra-Light Collapsible Metal Detector for Adults & Kids with 8" Waterproof Coil

Got this as a present for my daughter in the spring, and we've had a great time with it since. Easy to carry, easy to use. It's held up to a child's use in fields, woods, and beaches. Haven't found any doubloons yet, but there's always hope!

This is awesome for the price! It doesn’t have all the features of an expensive detector like depth or different tones or numbers, but works very well at what it does do. Feels cheep n flimsy but has not broken after many uses. Love how compact it gets and easy to use for a beginner. I have found tons of coins and jewelry at all the neighborhood parks.

An excellent choice for a entry level Metal Detector. Or a backup one. Minelab in my opinion is top of the line. And with this one. You aren’t going to be disappointed with options. However! The lack of a Target ID might be a problem for some.

I never knew they made a mini foldable metal detector until I was looking online to see if I could bring my metal detector on an airplane or how to pack one. I was watching videos and came across this Minilab Go Find 11, the reviews were good and I didn't want to spend alot of money on another detector. They had other mini's to buy, but for the price of $99.00 I thought I'd try it. We went to St Pete's Beach FL and I brought this mini everywhere, it was so easy to pack, lightweight and it worked great. I liked the settings on it, which told you what you found and what was amazing it detected coins almost 12+ inches in the sand, you wouldn't think this mini could detect deep but it did. It's also waterproof (I did not use in ocean, not permitted in FL) I found coins in the little pools on the beach. This was a great buy, now I can bring my mini on the motorcycle fits in the bag, where my other one does not. Oh and one more thing, you don't have to pack your Pin Pointer, because you can fold this mini down to use as a pointer once less thing you have to pack. When flying pack it in your carryon bag, you will have to take it out and put it on the belt, TSA got a kick out of the size and how portable it was. Can't say enough about it.

We purchased this for my 6 year old nephew. He loves it. It didn't come with instructions, but it was very easy to learn and use. He picked it up really quickly. It was the perfect size and weight!! The fact that the arm reach adjusts in length is very cool because both children and adults can use it. It is nicely made and seems very durable. Highly recommend if you are looking for a child! We also purchased the travel carrier and it was also very well built and fit like a glove!

I got it for my kids it was heavy for a kid to use it more then 10 minutes it’s always beep then I digging and find nothing but it keeps beepingReturn it after two weeks of trying

This is very light and easy to use.

I'm an avid metal detectorist and use higg end machines but this purchase was for my daughter. It's easy to use, only a few buttons, has a visual display and good volume. It folds up to become very portable. For what it is, I think it's great for someone who is just starting out and wanting to give metal detecting a try or for kids.This machine IS NOT for experienced metal detectorists. It lacks a pinpoint or any real target separation. If you're wanting something to start out with but possibly become serious woth and you're hoping this unit will last you a bit, this is not right for you. This is a toy that does detect metal but has no real depth or separation.Great for kids though!
