If only using this, it’s bitter
I wanted it to replace almond flour. If only adding 1 cup to a recipe it works great. BUT to only use this flour it is bitter to the point of having to throw them out. I waited a few days hoping it would be ok. But wasn’t.Adding it to other flours it worked great. So will I order it again No. I’ll just grind the walnuts up myself.Sad because I’m allergic to almonds.

Walnut Flour is the Next Big Food Trend and This is Great!
Very few companies sell walnut flour so I'm very pleased to find it. Most people dont realize that it's only walnuts that offer healthy Omega 3 content without inflammatory Omage 6 (which is too high and in most other nuts). I'm a huge low carb, keto, & gluten free flour Baker & Was wary about walnut flour because it's usually not as fine ground as almond flour. But I made my 1st batch of chocolate muffins with this brand, and it came out amazing. I definitely would recommend walnut flour over almond flour or a combination mix of the 2 if you really want to be keto, have the least inflammation within your flour, or get the most nutritional benefit. I definitely will be doing pancakes and a number of other crusts and baked goods. Love the product and recommend everyone start using walnut flour.

An incredibly delicious added protein (and energy) source!
I love this product-it's quite delicious. Since walnuts are such an important source of omega 3, I am especially pleased to have way to put them in and on so many foods.I was little wary at first because the price was so good, much cheaper than other choices on Amazon but the quality is very high and I expect to re-order them frequently.I am in the process of switching to a plant based diet and adding this ground walnut product to grains gives a huge boost to the protein content of my meals to and my ability to accomplish being on the plant based diet.

Great for baking
Wonderful walnut flour. I made a Hungarian walnut torte (dios torte) with this, and it came out perfect, really delicious. In addition to the walnut flour in the torte, I made a vanilla buttercream frosting for between the layers and added the walnut flour to that as well to cut the sweetness. FYI, I used dark chocolate buttercream for the exterior frosting.I also want to use this for chicken tenders in place of breadcrumbs. That will be awesome.I like the resealable package.

Quality product
I used this to make Russian tea balls. The product was not too oily, so it didn't affect the texture of my cookies. This is also good sprinkled over ice cream.

Very bitter
Once again, Amazon Reviews appear to be manipulated. I am not a picky person when it comes to food. This item is very bitter. I even would expect rancid because nuts get old but bitter?Update: Baked cookies with a ton of sugar, the bitterness was so bad that all the cookies and this ripoff product went into the garbage can. Fifty dollars in the garbage.Update: contacted the manufacturer because they claim on the package "Guaranteed Quality". Got no response. One additional point: although this is supposed to be Walnut Flour, on the back of the package it says "May contain milk, soy, wheat, tree nuts and sesame".

Not like almond flour
Flower is the wrong word for this. I use a lot of nut flours, and for the most part they are granier but still along the order of regular flour. If I were comparing this to almond flour, this is more like coarsely ground up nuts where the almond flour is ground as close as possible to a grainy powder. I found that I couldn't substitute this for some other nut flour including almond. That may be my mistake but I thought it should be able to do that and it doesn't. My belief is that it's not the right consistency.
