Love it!
Great quality and is a game changer. I was so tired of having to follow behind everyone and constantly close the door behind them. I love this thing! It works great. I have had it for almost 2 years and can't imagine how I lived without it for so long. Customer service is wonderful and very quick to respond. I will definitely purchase again when I need to replace this one.

Works Great! Make sure to clean track and adjust strength.
The media could not be loaded. This thing works excellent. Closes the door from 1/2” or from all the way open. Install is very easy, two screws into the end of the door to hold the bracket, and two screws into the door frame t o hold the closer. If you are having problems with the door not closing, remember, you need to really clean, and then lubricate with heavy duty silicone spray the top and bottom tracks; If you leave a bunch of dirt, sand, and grime, nothing will be able to properly close your door. The devil is in the details. If your track is really dirty, I reccomend pouring water down into it, then using a long bristle scrub brush to knock out the dirt, then use a shop vac to suck out the dirty water on both sides of the door (do this with the door in the open position and the closed position.) Repeat this step a couple times until it is truly clean, then use paper towels to dry it off. If needed, remove any sand or dirt particles that didn’t get sucked up with the water. Finally, apply heavy duty silicone spray to the top track and the bottom track both on the flat surface and where the rollers slide. If you can lubricate the rollers, do that too. When I first installed mine it wouldn’t close all the way; It left the door open about 6 inches; But after cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting the close strength you can see the results in the video. Works great!!!

VERY, VERY Disappointed and angry!
Only works right after it's freshly oiled. After a few days, it doesn't close on it's own any more. I bought it because I spend too much time yelling at my grandson's to close the door (it's 105 here in S. Texas and they are running in and out all day to the pool) went to the expense to purchase this item, only to be very disappointed. I even went as far as to contact seller for help - in case I was doing something wrong - his response was,"I don't think you're doing anything wrong. Just stakes some time for the oil to sink in." Whatever that is supposed to mean. I have used every kind of oil & lube and nothing works. I have taken out the speed control so that I know for certain there is no drag and it doesn't help. I have adjusted and readjusted until there are so many holes in my door and door frame, there almost isn't anyplace else to place a screw. AND it was NOT cheap at all. I apparently NEVER finished this review - I think because the company contacted me, but the result is no different. It still doesn't work right and I'm right back to yelling at the grand kids to close the door all the time. I'm ANGRY. I don't want to yell at them all the time but we live where the humidity is generally 60-100% and it causes the A/C to run non-stop in the summer. I have tried silicon oil, white lithium grease, W-D40 - EVERYTHING. If I clean out the smuts that as collected in the lithium grease out and squirt MORE silicon oil in it, it will work well three times, then it's back to this again. I SO wish I would've returned it when I had the chance and I would NOT recommend this. I have drilled so many holes in my door trying to move it up and down different levels that I've pretty much RUINED the door on my LANDLORD'S house! If I could offer zero stars, I would. Buyer beware. (Or, MY fault for not immediately returning it!!) The pics shows how far it will close and to the right is a cat door, so that's another foot that would remain open!

Works, but took a few days for pump to fully close the door
The media could not be loaded. Edit:after having installed for a few days, maybe baking in the sun or just getting stretched out, it started to close to 3 inches, then it finally started to close all the way. without any assistance or secondary device to assist. The door does not slam closed, which is good for kids, but it makes it more challenging to open overall and it also starts to close immediately upon release, so you have to hold it open as needed (which is good for my situation). Changed to 4 star since it does work, just had to give it time.Original:Our door is super easy to open, can flick it open with your pinky finger (new wheels, aluminum door on a very clean track, not ideal to open so smoothly I might add, but it does).I have 6 kids and a backyard designed with them in mind, with that said, i needed something that would close the sliding glass door automatically since they always leave it open (bugs, rodents, a/c, heat, etc.. whatever the reason need be, want the door closed). It hooked right up, wasn't difficult, mounted with double sided tape as a pre-set before drilling. The pump adds a lot of opening resistance (which we actually liked because it makes it harder for the babies to open), however it fails to fully close the door. it doesn't really even come 'close enough' to closing, or I would deal with it even if it was just cracked open... but as you can see from the video & pictures, there is a good 6 inches worth of it being left open, it's not a gradual close at this point, it will just hang there until we manually close it - which this adds more resistance to closing beyond this point.Test 1: cleaned the track (even more-so than it was), no helpTest 2: oiled the track up - no helpTest 3: assisted push the door closed - it incrementally closed 1-2 inches until 1in left before resistance required a good 'push to close'Test 4: oiled up the top of the track (can hear some scraping sounds from wobble), no helpTest 5: disconnected the pump to ensure I didn't mess it up, pump closes properly without door attached, door closes with flick as normal. Conclusion: I think this may be a good product, but just doesn't work for my application. I am not sure if I will keep it or return it, going to try a double resolve method... using this pump with one of those wire closer things at same time, see if the wire mechanism can give it that extra tug to close, and if so, then it will have been worth it, even if it took 2 separate items. if not, then i will likely return.

Great with modifications
Great product once we made some modifications to it since we didn't have a wooden door or frame. Instructions were complete garbage though so we had to do some problem solving and use a wood router to retrofit a wooden piece to work with the brackets
