It works, a true salt substitute.
This is truly a great salt substitute. To get the same level of saltiness you may have to use more than with salt, but there is no guilt because it's all healthy ingredients. Also, my blood pressure. After about 2 months of using this and never adding salt to anything and avoiding any foods that have salt built in, my BP has dropped from 155/95 on average to 122/74 on average. Now avoiding, does not mean zero. I still eat vegan cheese - all of which has salt added. And, smoked salmon. But, I do not eat salty snacks like potato chips & popcorn. But this stuff is truly great & tasty, Now: yes, it does clump and that may not be solvable because it may require additives that are not healthy. I am going to put rice in the shaker and see if that help reduce the clumping. Its what my mother used to do.

This is by far THE BEST no sodium substitute!!
Even though it is a bit pricey, I have not been able to find another brand of seasoning that is so flavorful. I put it on my eggs, soups, meat...pretty much everything I make. I tried cheaper brands hoping it would be similar, but no luck. Since I need to cut back on my sodium, this has been the only seasoning to make food taste great without adding salt.

Amazing! Use daily on all types of foods!
We live Bensons Table Tasty and put it in just about everything! It has a great flavor, not salt and is even good for you made out of all natural foods! My only recommendation is for humid climates. I store with silica packets I receive either other packaging to prevent caking.

BEST EVER!
I stopped being able to tolerate salt 2.5 years ago, and it was a huge learning curve to figure out how to make food taste good again. But this is absolutely fantastic stuff! Absolutely zero salt, it goes on almost anything, it does have a lemon-y taste, so it can’t go on most sweet things, but it’s perfect on potatoes, casseroles, vegetables, tomato sandwiches, beans, and so many other things! I made the most amazing potato-corn chowder soup recently and put some Table Tasty in it, and took it to a potluck. No one could tell it didn’t have salt and the Table Tasty boosted its flavor so much that people preferred my soup to the other corn chowder someone had brought! Even though it had no salt! Imagine that. It’s versatile, its ingredients are vegan, no MSG, and it acts like a flavor-enhancer to all of my meals. The 2 pound size, since I eat almost no sodium at all, only lasts me about a month! That can get super expensive, but for me, it’s so good it’s worth it!

Interesting taste.
This is a very unique blend. I won't say it tastes like salt, but it is good. It has one drawback, though. If it is exposed to the least little bit of moisture it will clump completely. We store it in sealed mason jars with some dry white rice mixed in. As long as the seals hold, the product is fine.

Satisfies the salt cravings!!
Pricey, but it's incomparable in terms of fulfilling the cravings for salt. Little on the lemony side but it's great on veggies, potatoes, rice and most other starchy foods. I love it on fruit too!! Weird but delicious.

A leading alternative to salt
Here was my acid test for “Table tasty”:Could it, along with no-sat fat margarine, black pepper & a touch of sour cream, rehabilitate one of my perennial favorites dishes — what the Brits call “jacket potatoes,” but we colonials simply dub “baked” — and return it to the previous place of honor on my menu —without adding salt?A very tough hill to climb. But Table Tasty got it done!(Full disclosure: it’s not EXACTLY the same. But damn close, and adding more on the steaming spuds helps bring them closer, even tho the stuff looks like dirt coming out of its shaker. But don’t be scared: it the filler is dirt, it’s organic, and must be hand-fathered from special lawns in Las Vegas (where it’s produced), which at the least should make it a good bet.)Yes, it’s pricey, but I addressed that as follows:1. First, ordered a pack of six or so 3 oz shaker bottles;2. Saved & washed the empty bottles; then3. Ordered a pound bag of TT, which was priced much less per ounce than the bottle-size; and4. Refilled the bottles, using a small funnel.Voilá! They store well.
