I always thought a senior flex driver shaft would be too flexible
As a short statured, >70 yo, single digit player, I've used stiff shafts, regular shafts, and stiff shafts shortened to 44" with head weight added, all with varying degrees of success, the latter being the best for accuracy, consistency and total distance with an average of 225 yd carries. I've even tried the ultra flexible, pink shafted, Korean made, wonder shaft with some amazement but no significant added benefit to warrant its $800 price tag. Along comes the Project X LZ senior (A) flex shaft which I installed at a total length of 45" at D0. All I can say is "amazing". The same or slightly longer carry but easier to do. At a price point of <$40, it is even more amazing. If your swing speed is <90mph and you need a change, try it.
