Cats LOVE it; good for a variety of play styles
It's an absolute crime that I took so long to review this product, because it is AMAZING.To be honest, I mildly hate these "fishing poles," as we call them, because my cats love them so much. Gone are the days of sitting on my phone scrolling endlessly, replaced with my cat meowing at me to get the toy out. I actually have to keep them sealed away inside of the China cabinet beyond their reach, because they'll drag them out of any other spot I try to hide them (spots they shouldn't even know about) to drop the pole at my feet. Even in the China cabinet, my cats paws at the glass and stare into it with their pitifully sad meows until I take them out.And when I take them out, oh boy, the real fun begins. My 10 month old cat is the laziest boy ever, but he'll chase and run and jump and crawl like no tomorrow after one of these toys. The 6th month old is just ad fascinated. She's normally shy and skidish, but once we bring the pole out, she bulldozes across the room after it without a care in the world. It's wonderful seeing one little toy make them so bold and active. What initially drew me to this product was that it's actually more than one toy, and for a superb price. I tried buying the replacement toys in other ways to see if it was cheaper, but it's honestly better to just buy another one of these, that way you have replacement toys *and* poles for a much better price than getting the toys alone. That being said, not a single toy has broken except for one lone carrot-looking worm that was hung under the table for the cats to get independent play, which only broke at the string. Despite all the love and terror these cats show to the toys, they've held up amazingly well. They get five stars just for durability alone.I'm also thouroughly impressed with the variety of the toys. The worms slither. The feathers glide through the air. The fuzzy thing isn't that much different than the worms, but when my cats catch it, they like to pin it down and lick it for some reason (?) which I guess is good. On top of that, the older cat likes something that will hold still so he can ambush and pounce on it, while the younger cat likes something fast she can chase. This toy meets both their needs and then some. It's hard to believe that something as stupid and simple as a worm on a string could be so versatile, but it is.Overall, it's worth every penny. I actually already bought a second one earlier this month when I got my second cat, just in case my older cat didn't want to share (which he doesn't, but they're learning to take turns and work together on hunting the worms). It's been at least a few months and the toys have held up great, which is impeccable considering my older cat likes to chew through any string he gets his paws on. I'm sure they will eventually break, at which time I will not hesitate to re-order this again.100/10 will recommend to anyone willing to listen to me brag about a feather on a stick.

By far, my cat's favorite toy!!! 😻
The media could not be loaded. This is by far my cat's favorite toy!! I had been getting a little discouraged trying to find a toy that would interest my young adolescent cat...and I tried a lot! He's completely uninterested in fake mice, balls, bells, hanging toys, scratching posts, tunnels, stuffies, and even anything with catnip in it! 😞 Nothing held his interest for more than a day until I got a laser pointer. That was his favorite... until I found this! 😀 He loved the laser and I felt good knowing he was happy, engaged and getting a good amount of exercise chasing it around the apartment. He still loves the laser, but he definitely loves this more! He'll be sound asleep in the other room and come scrambling in at high speed, skidding around the corner and sliding across the floor, if he so much as hears the little jingle bell 🔔 on the feather attachment. 🤣 I seriously have to be careful not to bump it if I'm not in the mood to play, cuz he gets so excited. 😆 It's been several months since we got it and his interest couldn't be higher. I like it because I can run around the apartment with him when I really feel like playing too, or I can just relax in my recliner while watching a movie and simply wave the pole around just by moving my hand a little. It is very light and has a good reach to it, allowing the little "birdy" to fly all around the room while I'm being lazy in my recliner, LOL. The pole itself is about 38" while extended, and the line is another 27", and the attachments are roughly 7" and hook onto the end of the line. My Pokey prefers the feather attachments the best, which fly so nicely... just like a real bird would. 🐦 I love that it comes with 2 poles and so many different attachments. The pink feather attachment you see in the video has lost 3 of its feathers so far, after a few months of being attacked daily, but it still flies great as you can see. It's nice to know we have backups for when he completely obliterates it, LOL. The poles are sturdy but could snap somewhat easily if you decided to play tug-of-war once your cat has captured it. If you want to pull it away from your cat when he's holding on, pull the end of the pole straight away in a line (so there is no bend in the pole)... bending the pole too much will make it snap. So far so good with mine, and we really give it a workout!I'm super glad I found this toy, and Pokey is too! 😻 He's so happy and gets so much exercise flying around doing his aerial acrobatics. ☺️ I highly recommend this cat toy... especially for cats stuck indoors all the time craving some excitement. Can't beat the price either! Five stars from us!!!!! 😀 🐈⬛️

My cat LOVES this toy.
We recently adopted a VERY energetic 6 month old kitten. He has many toys, but these wands are his favorite by far! He BEGS us to play with them multiple times a day. So far, we've only used the feather attachments, but the others look great too. The poles are extremely long, which is great because it allows me to play with him while sitting on the couch when I'm tried. The poles are sturdy but flexible. The multiple attachments are cute and I love that you can make it into a "new" toy every time if you want. I highly recommend this wand to everyone with a playful cat.

Might want to get a sturdier clasp, but everything else is solid.
I have bought a couple of these types of my toys for my cats. For the cost, this one is very good. My fat cats haven't broken the pole or the string yet despite them being extremely possessive of the toy once they catch it (I literally have to pry their jaws open to get it back lol). Unfortunately, because my cats are so in love with this kind of toy and won't let it go voluntarily, the little metal clasp on the end got bent and so it won't latch anymore, I am hoping I can go to a hardware store and replace it with a more sturdy clasp. I'm honestly surprised how well the rest of it has held up to their abuse so far.
