This is a great set with a variety sizes, very sharp and serrated. Great for cutting vegetables and especially great on tomatoes. I have a set of Tramontina knives that I have been using for about 15 years. They are still sharp and have never needed sharpening. I bought this set so I would have a set in another location. A great value and I highly recommend these knives.

My mom has had a Tramontina knife for over 20 years and it's still her best knife (seriously). I was so excited to find these because they aren't sold in any stores near me and I could never find them online when I looked. So of course I was ecstatic when I found these for such a great price. Nice and sharp and they will LAST. Buy them if you're looking for a great knife set for your kitchen, they'd also make a great gift for someone just moving into their first place. I also have a Tramontina oversized skillet and the quality of their products is evident with it as well! And no, I'm not a paid spokesperson, I just love their stuff!

I love these knives. They aren't fancy showy knives. They are good durable sharp knives. They are great for cutting veggies and meat. They are my go to knife to use in the kitchen. I like them cause they are light and easy to handle and use. I totally recommend.

The media could not be loaded. I was thinking about between 4 and 5 stars, decided to go with 4 with some remarks. Using these knives at home kitchen and they are pretty much good for everyday cooking. They are lightweight, but thin blades make uncomfortable cutting through some tight veggies because it feels like you cant transmit enough force from the handle to the blade. No rust since a year of owning and still sharp. Major upside for serrated edge is that it literally can't cut fibrous products like fresh meat. The only way is to cut while it's still frozen. So consider you can't cut some soft products with one move, these knives require extra "saw-ish" forward and backward action. Overall pleased, if you want to buy and forget - this is the product to go.

Great product as usual

I had a set of knives I bought in the early 1980's, I thought they were ginsu knives, never need sharpening. they all disappeared but one. anyway, I had one paring knife left, I have bought countless others only to have them break or not cut at all. I am looking at my knife and it was not ginsu, it had "tramontina" on blade. first thing I did was run and log onto amazon and here they were. I can not praise this item enough. although this set is new, for me, to still be using a paring knife that is same brand for over 30 years from this company is unbelievable to me. I would recommend them for everyone. I am getting older, I don't want to sharpen knives, and I want them to cut through things easily, these out perform every brand I have tried and I don't have to spend a fortune to get them!

I bought one of these knives at a thrift store and just had to have more of them. This is one of the sharpest knives I have ever purchased and they hold up well. These would make a very good inexpensive gift for someone!
