Faucet easy to install
Delivery was prompt. Faucet easy to install, however, it would be better if Grohe furnished installation instructions rather than requiring customer to go online to get them. Faucet came without the retraction spring which is required to make the retraction of the spray head work properly; otherwise the head tends to hang down slightly after use. Grohe furnished the spring promptly after being called.

Gorgeous, solid faucet
This is the perfect faucet for our farm sink. It does not splash, which was my major concern before buying it (unless you have a dish in the sink at an awkward angle). The sprayer is powerful and even, I love that when you turn the faucet off, it reverts back to solid stream the next time you turn it on. When you pull the sprayer out, it feels heavy and reliable, not awkward and tangly like our last (inexpensive) faucet. You do have to push the sprayer head back into place, as opposed to the kind that snap back into place, but that wasn't a deal breaker for me, and those automatic ones often don't work right. We bought this faucet because we have a very tight space between the faucet and a windowsill behind it, which meant we had to install the lever in front instead of on the side, but because the faucet has a 360-degree turn radius, it works fine. (If you have a tight space like this, beware! We had to return the first faucet we bought because it had a small turn radius and wouldn't work in that tight space.) Surprisingly, the shiny chrome doesn't really show water stains or fingerprints.... and if it does, a quick swipe with a damp cloth does the trick. I can't really comment on the installation because my contractor did it, but he said something about it "coming in a million pieces," so I'd probably recommend hiring a professional to install it if you're unsure. Very happy with this faucet!

Not what it used to be
Sadly I am disappointed with this product. I bought one about 3 years ago when I had my kitchen redone and loved it! Recently we bought a new house and the kitchen faucet needed replacing. I purchased this one (the exact model number as the previous one) and had it installed by a plumber. The section that the handle attaches to (where the blue and red triangles are for hot/cold) does not properly center on this faucet. This piece has to be tightened down to be secure, but the markings are off to the left, and not centered. When I contacted the supplier I was told that if it had been installed it is not returnable and to contact Grohe. Grohe sent me a new center piece, I again paid a plumber to install, but the same problem exists. It may sound petty, but since my first faucet installed properly, I had no reason to believe that a newer one wouldn't look the same. A pretty expensive faucet that I will use everyday and be reminded that things aren't what they used to be!!

Very disappointed all the way around
Not one but 3 plumbers have been to inspect / repair the faucet. It has a continual slow drip and no plumber has been able to fix it. They all mutually agree it's a defect in the spout. I cannot get anyone including Amazon to assist me with this product. Very disappointed all the way around.

Stately!
I don't write as many product reviews as I should but I must on this faucet. It arrived without incident of course. I chose to have a plumber install. It did not take him long. The faucet is simple in appearance but regal. The functionality is great and the quality is even better than I imagined. Even the plumber commented on the quality of the faucet. The mechanisms seem very solid. A+ purchase

Like my Old Girlfriend the Cheerleader
The reason that this is like my old cheerleader girlfriend is that she is BEAUTIFUL, EXPENSIVE and SLOW. BTW: For you German fanatics, mine was made in Canada, and the construction is flawless - should last way longer than the normal "H*** D****" Faucets. With a bit of creative engineering, I was able to fix the "SLOW" problem: The flow rate is now more than DOUBLE what it was when new. No, I will not discuss how I "fixed" the problem, and please do not bother me! If you have any plumbing experience, it should be pretty obvious. My Cheerleader girlfriend is starting to age in unfortunate ways. When this unit becomes as old as my ex-girlfriend, it should be as nice as the day that I bought it. I highly recommend the satin finish, which costs a bit more, because it goes better with my 1885 house.
