All-round a good-sounding, feather-light instrument. And it looks cool.
I bought this for no real reason other than I thought it looked pretty cool. That said, I travel a lot, so why not buy one? definitely worth it! Only a few trade offs worth considering: there's no volume or tone control locally, so you're completely dependent on your amp in modifying.I've yet to fly with it so my four stars are based purely on what I know to be beneficial: it's feather-light, very compact and will definitely fit in overhead compartment on flights (if your airline lets you take on ofc). If you place it in hold, it will fit in most suitcases and you can pad the thing with towels etc pretty easily.I genuinely expected it to be fairly awkward to handle, given that it doesn't have any real body to rest your forearm on, though i've not found it to be an issue at all. There will always be more powerful guitars at around the same price, but it more than meets expectations for its intended purpose -something easy to carry around.

Small and light, but full size fret board
Great guitar. V light and handy case. No volume control, but surprisingly good sound from pickup

Disappointed
Ordered this as I wanted a small guitar to keep at work for playing on breaks etc, but ended up returning it.Pros:-Its mainly a great basic design (apart from bits listed below) and couldn't be any smaller with a full scale fretboard etc.-It seems well made with a few questionable flaws.-Very nice case and really would be great to put in a suitcaseCons:-Really didn't like the neck, it seemed quite thick to me (my normal guitars are a professionally set up Harley Benton LP copy, and a Fender Acoustasonic) - I would have thought this would have had a slimmer neck.-The action was quite high, which maybe could have been dealt with, but I didnt get that far with it.-There were a few questionable design aspects I didnt quite get: -The bits on the back holding the tuners stick out about 20mm, which they have to do, but I feel the ends could have been curved AND they could have been fitted with countersunk screws - these 2 things would make it more comfortable. -Where the strings come off the rollers, there is what looks like a cheap bit of velcro stuck as protection to the body - again maybe more thought on the design here and this looks like an afterthought -Hanger - just a bit of material but attached with a cable tie- again, looks cheap on what isn,t a cheap guitarAll just my own personal observations and I have read a load of reviews from people that love them, but this particular guitar isnt for me

Great craftsmanship but playability problems.
I wanted to like this… I really did. I first tried an ANYGIG brand travel guitar and returned it because despite sounding surprisingly good with the stock pick up and having a great feel and playability the craftsmanship was absolutely unacceptable… It look like it was built by a drunk monkey! So then I heard that this brand has great craftsmanship and that is certainly true. The build and the finish is flawless and the sound is fine. However, the playability is the problem as others have mentioned. The wooden lugs for the tuning pegs on the back of the guitar along with the ill placement of the output jack caused the guitar to lean at an angle away from your head and even worse unlike the Anygig there really isn’t a good place for your hand so the first thing I noticed was that string control was nearly impossible which makes playing the guitar nearly impossible. I also am not a big fan of the end of neck design where the headstock would normally be on this brand along with the weird and thin nut that would be difficult to replace since it’s an odd size. The Anygig Design was actually better in this respect. It’s a real shame that out of these top two brands one of them plays well but is built like garbage and the other is built well but practically unplayable so I guess I’ll just forget the idea of having a travel guitar.

Great instrument. Fully suitable for a home studio.
Based on the reviews I was expecting something very flimsy and unhandy, with a poor sound and "zero sustain". First of all, the "zero sustain" thing makes no sense: the time resonation is not coming from the size of the deck (even if the deck would have an impact, it would work *against* the time of the string vibration): it's all in your fingers and picking technique. Is it unhandy? Yes. Somehow. It's not a sleek JP's MusicMan, it's even not a Tele.Is it possible to use the instrument for home recordings, practicing, and couch slacking? Yes, yes, and yes.The pickup is not very hot, but there is a lot of high/mid-high harmonics. Which is not that bad. In any case, for recording, it's not the pickup, but EQ what matters.5/5 would buy again

The perfect travel companion
I can't believe how amazing this guitar is. Half of my life is spent away from home working. My plan is to bring this to work with me and leave it up there. I may have to fly it back and forth each time. That or get another one. I never want to leave home again without it. Got the little headphone amp for it and it just sounds and plays amazing. I have some guitars worth 5 times more than it and I'm telling you it doesn't feel like much of a compromise. And the fact that it is tiny but so playable just makes it that much cooler.
