I love a timex to keep me on time. It is easy to read and use. It has an alarm feature. I needed this for my focus.

This alarm clock was purchased as a replacement for a 20+ year old Westclox that was absolutely the best, but almost completely warn out! The new alarm clock's display is large and bright. The volume is great too. Love the clean look and simplicity of use. It's a Timex so I'm counting on it to live up to it's reputation!

I have appreciated TIMEX wrist-watches for years. Initially, the TIMEX attention to precision was evident in some components which often makes set-up and use of devices by other manufacturers -- the polarized AC plug slipped easily into an outlet socket, battery case opened easily, after back-up batteries were (easily and securely) inserted. Instructions and identification of buttons for setting time and alarm time, and indicator lights clearly shown, etc. HOWEVER after spending 1/2 hour setting alarm for 10 minutes later, never heard an alarm sound. For example, at 7:30pm set alarm for 7:40pm -- no alarm soundThen at 7:45pm set alarm for 8:07pm -- no sound! Yes, I clicked on/off, yes, light said "on". Yes "pm" indicated for time and for alarm. Possible diagnostic clue -- dots in time display do not blink (shouldn't they?) OH - OH just noticed blinking "alarm on" blinking. Held back of alarm very close to my ear, heard VERY faint beeping. I had set the loudness to "loud" so shouldn't it be loud right away? ENTIRELY USELESS AS AN ALARM CLOCK if I need to have my ear glued to it all night.

My old alarm clock finally gave up the ghost after probably 30 years. After searching many clocks I ordered this alarm clock and I am really happy with it. It is easy to set the time/alarm and the numbers are easy to read and not so bright it keeps you awake. I love the alarm. It starts off low and then gets louder as it goes. The snooze button (Which I use a lot) is easy to hit even in half sleep. I live in Florida with lightening storms and the battery back up on this clock has come in handy many many times with loss of electricity during a bad storm. Keeps the time perfect on the battery back up unlike my old alarm clock that the time would change anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes on battery back up. My whole family uses their phones for their alarm but I want a tried and true alarm clock and I really like this little clock

The time shown for this product is in white. It is not white, the digital display is red! If this clock is out in the open, reading the time should not be a problem. My clock is on my cable box behind a tinted glass cabinet, making it a little hard to read. White display would be a lot better. It sets up easily and the time display is a nice size.
