Wonderful addition to any cookbook collection
I took a cooking class in Rome about a year ago and have been hooked on the art of Italian cooking ever since then. I discovered Emily's blog when searching for the perfect cacio e pepe recipe and followed her IG as well! (side note: she shared a method of cooking up the perfect cacio e pepe via a video from the kitchen of a well established restaurant in Rome - that vid blew my mind and was the key to perfecting this ever elusive recipe!). When I found out she was releasing a new book, I was excited for it's release and I was not disappointed! The book is beautifully photographed and the concept of providing dinner planning ideas beyond the meal is wonderful. I've already tried my hand at a couple of the recipes and they've been a hit with the family. I'm really looking forward to exploring making all of the pizza recipes that will take me back to all of those amazing little pizza shops in Rome with yards and yards of flat, square slices of heaven! Especially the potato pizza recipe (which may sound off putting, but believe me, is nothing short of pure decadence!).My only small gripe about this book is that the measurements aren't also listed in measurements of weight. But it's honestly not a big deal as the food has still been turning out wonderfully!All-in-all this book presents recipes and ideas that I know I'll be turning to for years to come and I'm grateful to add such a gem to my library!

Dish picture doesn't match 100% with the recepi?
Rotolini do zucchini con ricotta (page 227) says poppy seeds. Based on the photo corresponding, looks black sesame to me. Also, the zucchini looks coated in panko.Well, I guess I should take the photo, page 226 as one of "variations."I made melanzane sott'aOlio; it came out really good.
