Is it the Beets or the Expectation?
I can't tell you weather it's the beets or the placebo effect, but I'm happy with anything that gives me a boost through either mechanism.Since I started using this on my hard interval days, I've nailed the efforts my coach prescribes with slightly less sense of perceived effort. My guess as to the beets effects has little more value than an antidote but place me on the "I'm going to keep using this" side of the scale. Too many variables for me to confidently recommend this but a few observations may help.1. The taste is "beety" but I like beets. I mix only enough water to dissolve the powder-a few ounces-and swish it around my mouth for 30 seconds. I find I have to do that about 3 times per mix. Watch a clock so you don't get distracted and shallow it or waste time.2. Warmish water is easier to dissolve the powder. I stir with a fork in a short glass and rarely get lumps. I also find the warm liquid better tasting than cold water. Your experience may vary.3. I find no difference using it anywhere from 1 to 3 hours ahead.4. I've also used the Beetum chews and had similar results, but disciplining myself to not chew and not shallow the Beetum is harder than the powder. And I hate to burn up discipline before hard intervals.

Fabulous flavor
We've tried other brands, but this one is amazing! The flavor is wonderful and the boost to energy is noticeable. Maybe it's the extra nitric oxide? Don't know, but it's definitely better than their main competitor.

Easy to Mix
I've tried a few Beet Root Juice powders and this is one of the better ones that doesn't have fillers, or insignificant amounts of other ingredients to try to look better. Just pure beet juice that's proven to be good for circulation. Being someone that struggles with muscle cramps due to circulatory issues it's something I choose to take often.

Good, I think
I’m sure this is a good product at least from reading about it. I could not use this because it is high in oxalates and detrimental for anyone with a history of kidney stones. I did give it to a friend, she stated it does taste good

Haven’t noticed any increased energy after first jar
Meh. Was expecting all the energy I read about. None for me. Another one on the way. I’llSee if it’s any different after month two (bc I forgot to cancel subscription in time)

Powerful stuff ... love it
I will say this, I bought many powder forms of veggies and many of them have left over powder at the bottom of the glass. This is not like that, it literally absorbs within the water like salt or sugar you see no powder at the bottom even if you leave it there for 30mins nothing settles at the bottom. Why is this good, well with only water and on an empty stomach if it had powder left at the bottom then I could only take in about 6g without getting diarrhea but with this I put 20g in the water mixed it with just water and no diarrhea. It also taste so good like koolaid cherry like and if you add carrot powder in it, oh my goodness it takes so good.

Wow
One sip. This stuff is absolutely horrible. I was using another beet powder product that I could at least stomach. This stuff is AWFUL tasting. I’m going back to the other product. Unfortunately there is no returns on this stuff so make sure you like a very potent tasting beet flavor before you buy this. I almost threw up it was so bad.
