Seattle’s Best Dark Roast is Excellent!
These folks from Seattle’s Best make several great Dark Roast coffees and my favorite being Post Alley Blend and a close second Henry’s Dark Roast. I have been happy with their pre-ground and it’s always smoky and intense, but smoother than most others. The price is very reasonable with high quality flavor and I have tried many coffees and I find it better than San Francisco French Roast, which is also excellent.

Pretty much perfect
Truly one of my top 3 favorite dark roast coffees! No burnt taste. No strange aftertaste. The right amount of bitterness. Just the perfect dark roast. Buy it, you really can't go wrong here.

Good coffee
My "go to" coffee. The dark roast is full bodied and smells great. Smooth taste. Wish it was a little bit stronger but it will work. Good value. Would recommend.

Very good coffee
This coffee is dark and intense and I like it a lot. The only unusual thing is there is a slight tangy/funky aroma before brewing. This might be the smoky/peat notes, but I first identified it as almost "briny" like an ocean smell. This completely goes away when brewed and the resulting coffee smells and tastes great, but is always a bit surprising upon opening the bag. It's not one I like to put my face over and inhale before prepping the coffee.Otherwise, this blend is super - I like strong brews that can be mellowed with creamer but still taste the coffee prominently.

Nasty coffee?
Yuck, tastes and smells like garlic, have it a 1, couldn't go a -1, nasty! What a waste of money. Quite expensive for something I'll never drink! But that's my opinion. Some people may like it but it doesn't taste like coffee at all.
