Papo Standing Reindeer Toy Figure

Beautiful deer, but it not so much with the white color as in the picture. It is more gray. Horn beautiful and made of bendable material. Perhaps this is why they are slightly curved towards me. But in general I like the deer, very realistic. Nothing does not smell. A pleasure to hold in your hand and consider it.

Who knew there are so many breeds of reindeer? I bought this one, along with reindeer from Schleich and Safari Ltd., and together they were a wonderful addition to my Christmas decorations. They all look completely lifelike.

This item is a decent addition for anyone who collects these kind of animal figurines. It is not quite as well-made or detailed as Schleich items but reindeer seem hard to find on amazon.My reindeer is not nearly as colorful as the one in the picture. He is almost completely matte gray with very minimal white markings, unlike the picture shown on amazon. The antlers are wonderfully sculpted and painted but because of their shape, they have some give to them and a rambunctious child could break them. The eyes are very detailed: brown iris, black pupil, with pink in the corners of both eyes. It should also be noted that while Schleich is adamant about making each figure male or female, this one has no reproductive organs. I believe 9due to the size of the antlers) that it is intended to be male.I am glad to have found a reindeer on amazon but I wish I'd purchased it in person and maybe chosen one with a bit more color.
