This bible is well made and is beautiful to hold and to use. But just know it is in CSB translation and not the old KJV.

Honestly I cannot believe the price of this Bible! Only 30 retail and 20 on amazon for the Leathersoft cover with Smyth sewn binding and gold gilding. The text size is 9.5 and dark print that is so easy to read. No this isn’t Calf skin or goat skin with art gilding and edge lined. But for 20 bucks this is amazing quality!Now onto the content. I cannot believe the quality of the study notes on this 20 dollar Bible. Honestly, I had a coupon and so I purchased this because it was so cheap, but I didn’t expect the notes to be very helpful. I thought it was geared for new believers and the notes would be concise and basic. I was wrong. The notes are extremely helpful and plentiful. I finished reading Ezra and have read most of Nehemiah and Ecclesiastes. I am floored over the quality of the notes. Even in Ezra and Nehemiah (full of genealogies and lists) contain notes on things a lot of people would consider insignificant (no such thing when it comes to the Bible). I have flipped through other parts of the Bible and the notes are excellent throughout. Of course, you won’t agree with every note, but that is true of any study Bible.The character profiles are quite good and actually lengthy. I thought there was some good insight in them in the takeaway section. Good articles and essays by well known scholars and apologists are scattered throughout. Excellent illustrations are found of things like Noah’s Ark and Solomon’s temple. Essential Christian truths sections are helpful, even if I don’t agree with all of them.Cons: The introductions could’ve been better. They are extremely basic. To save on space, the Christian truths could’ve been removed and longer intros could’ve been implemented. The stitching on the copy I received was a little sloppy and some thread was hanging out here and there. This is advertised as a portable study Bible, but it is still a little larger than some folks would want to carry, being over 1 and a half inches thick and over 9 inches tall. The size will not compare well to a Scofield Study Bible.Overall I recommend this study Bible because it is amazingly inexpensive, decent quality, good size and highly informative. This is one of the best Bible deals I have ever seen. I am amazed at how far Bible production has come in the last 20 years.P.S. there are Bible snobs that will tell you not to waste your time with a Leathersoft cover. However, you should know that as long as you keep them out of the sun and don’t place them on the shelf without first placing them in the box or in a cover, this Bible will last you a long, long time. Also, it is a lot easier to write notes here and there and highlight certain verses when you only have 20 bucks invested in it. I have some Bibles that are just too nice to mark up.Buy this Bible if you are at all interested in a KJV study Bible at an extremely affordable price that is good quality and has plenty of information to advance your knowledge of God’s holy word.

Very high quality. Analysis is very good and allows for much more in depth understanding (especially old testament cultural reference). Definitely worth the value!

I ordered a few KJV study Bibles and this is the best one for me. Most important for me is readability, and this has many subheadings within each chapter which makes it really easy to follow along and stay on track.I love the way it looks, the two bookmarks, and the size.The downfall for me is that the very edges are already starting to fray a tiny bit, and there are no red letters for Jesus’ words. Otherwise I like it a lot.

I love the extra information. I wish it had the words Jesus spoke in red. It doesn't.
