I got my first 8 place serving set (45-Pieces) free as a gift from work (one of those catalog reward items for so many years of being there). I liked it.After 5 months of using the Provence stainless I ordered a 2nd set from Amazon. The quality appears to match my first set. Now I have a 16 place set and I'm ready for most any holiday onslaught of visitation by friends and relatives. Having a double set (90 Piece total) has allowed me to purge all my "hodgepodge" stainless, which I have bagged up and put away.I have large hands and these feel right to me. They are not heavy and neither do I find them wimpy. They work fine for me and I would not change anything about them.This stainless is easy to clean and unlike some reviews here of "Proveance" by Henckels, I myself have never had any rust problems with them. Not one iota. Disclaimer: I have high quality city water. Maybe those with acidic or hard water that they treat, etc - I don't know if that's a factor in their reported issues. I can just say the stuff cleans well in my dishwasher with Cascade, looks great. I'm a happy camper. I feel this is fairly priced for what you get.Note: There are no, what I would call old-skool style "soup spoons" in this set -- by "old skool" soup spoons I mean the circular shaped hemi-spherical spoons. What you get instead: The larger of the two place setting spoons, the Tablespoon, is not that much smaller in size from the actual SERVING spoon in size. (OK it's probably 20% smaller). This is not a big deal to me. You certainly can eat soup with the Table, it's just a bit biggish. I actually use those Tablespoons ** as ** serving spoons for lesser condiment bowls on occasion if need be. Just to reassure you: The regular TEAspoons are sized normally.

I have owned this set and used it daily since 2016, and it looks as new as it did then. It's an absolutely wonderful set of silverware. The weight is perfect, it's durable, and it's elegant as well. My mother has the same set of 45 (also owned for at least 8 years), and I'm going to order the 45-piece set for my father now as well. These are great for daily use and entertaining. I also have a chef's knife by the same company, and it's made of excellent quality as well.

We had a set of stainless steel flatware purchased many years ago. It was ok, but plain and low quality. We decided to splurge and find a new, quality set made from 18/10 stainless steel (the best). Did our due diligence, read hundreds of tests and reviews, and purchased this Zwilling Provence as it also fit our budget. I would say, it is beautiful with a subdued, but elegant design, and polished to a mirror finish. The forks and spoons aren’t too skinny nor too fat. The knife handles are a little more robust and feel great in the hand. The knives are serrated, but be forewarned, they are sharp too! I can cut a steak without grabbing a steak knife. We hand wash, and air dry without any spots showing. We can’t find any imperfections. They may be at a casual dining price, but would look impressive on any formal dining table too! Included a pic of the Zwilling all set in the drawer.

The flatware is beautiful, shiny, and the perfect weight. Looks expensive.

The set is great (matches the one we've had for years) except for one large spoon. It is scratched (picture doesn't do it justice). And while you can't see it, there is also a sharp spot on the side of the spoon. Will have to return unless seller will allow an exchange for just one piece?

Already purchased one set from another supplier but they didn't carry it anymore. Was so happy to find an exact match on Amazon. Good silverware weight. Keeps its shine.

Still going strong and looking great for 5 years now!I got this set for my mother who was extremely happy with the stylish look, quality, weight per piece, sturdiness, and value (I was the one happy with the value). This is a very handsome flatware set that can be used on a daily basis or for special occasions. It is well worth the value and after seeing and using these I will be buying a set for my sister for Christmas. You won't be disappointed with the price, value, look, or feel. This is an excellent set and I'm glad I chose this particular service. I have no regrets in purchasing this set.Please be aware that although J A Henckels is a quality German company this set of flatware is manufactured in another country. Even so, the quality is NOT compromised and meets or exceeds Henckels standard of quality.UPDATE 11/25/2010Due to a question I decided to update this since I forgot I had rated this set. I am still extremely happy with this purchase. Unlike another rater none of our flatware has scratches or rust. I tend to wonder what the other poster is cleaning with. Not one piece has bent either. One would have to purposely try and bend it with force or use it as a pry bar to open something. My mother's set is still flawless and still looks great. Our only bummer is someone threw away 2 spoons and that had nothing to do with Henckels. IMHO regardless of where this was manufactured the owner and I are still extremely happy with this set of flatware after 2 years of daily use.If these unhappy raters have bought from 3rd party vendors that could be the reason for their problem. (Buying knock offs.) Buy direct from Amazon LLC and you should get the real deal.Update 3/13/2013 This set is still going fine and all "remaining" items still look great. As my folks got older I think 2 or 3 pieces got thrown away accidentally over the years. Going on 5 years now with this great set!
