Amour Tomato Paste, Double Concentrated 4.5 oz. tube is my purchase. I LOVE THIS AMOUR TOMATO PASTE❣️ It has the best feedback record on Amazon! A lot of praise for this product, from home cooks & chefs.It’s made by Italian Chefs in 🇮🇹 Italy! Non GMO, VEGAN, BPA FREE! It arrived in Hawai’i in an envelope in tact!I opened the tomato paste tube & tasted it! I was very pleasantly surprised at the fresh tomato taste! It was really good! Not bitter, not sweet, no salty, no metallic taste from being packaged in a metal tube. Which I had concerns about! And most importantly it’s fresh not stale! With a two year shelf life and a expiration date of 2021! Big points in that department for me, I wasn’t sure how long it would keep. Or if I’d use it all before it goes bad! It says to refrigerate after opening. No problem there, I had planned on doing that already!In fact I’d go as far as to say, “it was better than any tomato paste, I’ve ever had out of a tin can! We all know that almost nobody ever uses, a whole can of tomato paste at once!Unless their cooking in bulk.Most recipes only call for a couple of tablespoons per dish.It just so happened I was cooking Mexican food when the package arrived. So I put it to the test, I added 2 Tbsp. To my ground turkey meat filling for my taco’s & burritos. It was perfection! It nicely coated the meat, and gave it a tomato boost. I usually can only acquire by adding a can of tomato sauce & a couple of tablespoons of tomato paste!I also added some to my Spanish rice, I was making from scratch! This stuff is the bomb! No wonder they named it AMOUR❣️You fall in love with the taste! 😍 My family noticed the freshness of the tomato taste too! They even ask what I did differently, GUILTY AS CHARGED! It is so worth it, to me in particular to be a prime customer. Because I live in Honolulu, Hawai’i. Island Of OahuI have had to master shipping things! To protect all my purchase from being damaged, in route to the Islands. I ship them separately!Especially the food items, I know the boxes get bounced around. It’s just smarter, to wait until I see a confirmation that my other orders have been shipped already and are in route that I can track! Sometimes that means I have to wait two to three days to order.Before I order more items, that I know are fragile, and hold a high risk of damages. I wait an order them separately! So far I’ve been very successful in my strategy.I order my toiletries separately, like my hair care products. I ship all of them together in the same box. Or just bit off more than they could chew, taking a delivery job! Delivery people are only human, try to think about making their job a little easier. Try to order things ahead of time, not at the last minute. And take into consideration somebody has to lift these heavy boxes. Then maybe just maybe, your packages will arrive nicely. Everything in its proper place. Be kind to one another out there! Just put yourself in the shoes and mindset of others. This is a rich, deeply tasty, full-flavored tomato paste. It's more expensive than most domestic tomato paste brands that I've tried, but well worth the extra premium. It has worked well in every tomato dish that I've used it with.As a bonus, lycopene, a naturally occurring compound in ripe tomatoes has known health benefits. In fact, I've recently read in a respected medical journal that a long-term study has shown that a daily tablespoon of tomato paste has measurable benefits for heart health. Many of the winter casseroles and slow cooker recipes I use contain tomato paste. I open up a can, and put it in the fridge thinkng I will use it again. Weeks later I discover it, and throw it away. What a waste of food and money.When I go to the grocery store, I either can't find the tube of tomato paste or I forget. I had a recipe I used last weekend that needed tomato paste, and I thought I would look and see if Amazon has the paste. Indeed, they do, and after looking at the reviews chose Amore Paste because of the good reviews including good taste. I have used a tbsp of the tomato paste, and put it in the fridge, and then used it again today. The second use looked and tasted as good as the first use.
