Awesome
This practice sword is brilliant. I hit the wall with it by accident and it took a chunk of the wall out and didn't damage the wooden blade. It is sturdy but not overly heavy. Perfect for practicing Katas without too much strain before switching to a steel blade. Love it. Highly recommended.

Great Product would buy again
Amazing product. The sturdiness of the wood is great and the price is also very good for what it is

Not bad for the price
A little bit of imperfection in the wood which could have been treated and sanded out. A bit heavier than I expected. But other than that, it’s a fairly well balanced training sword.

Great product
This is probably the coolest thing I’ve ever bought , I’m very happy, don’t think you can get anything better tbh, would’ve been nice to know the size (just to compare to other bokken)

Not suitable for heavy use.
I’ve trained with other weapons for years, so while I’m new to bokken specifically, I do have a strong and deliberate striking style. Unfortunately, this bokken didn’t hold up—it split down the grain during a single heavy strike. For light practice or forms, it’s fine. The weight and balance are decent, and it handles well for non-contact drills. But if you’re someone with a powerful swing, even without intent to break things, this isn’t the tool for you. It’s not durable enough for strikes with serious force behind them. This isn’t a criticism of casual use—just a warning for those who hit hard out of habit: you’ll break it.
