Art A Children's Encyclopedia Hardcover – 1 November 2019

Excellent book for introduction to Western Art specifically Painting. Brought it for my son but ended reading it first. Not too verbose, emphasis is on history than criticism and you can enjoy the art on large size books. Key movement in paintings like Romanticism, Impressionism, Post Impressionism till Surrealism and abstract art forms are covered in nutshell with paintings. Images provided with the book give fair idea about the content and design of the book.Generally I dont like books from DK because of the cramped text and small font size. But this was surprise.

Its a complete guide for any art history enthusiasts. Great finish and very informative.

Great book. Got it after I had purchased the encyclopedia on Space for kids. Bright illustrations and clear descriptions. Eyeing some other books of this series.

As usual for DK very beautiful pictures and good quality of book. But content is quite chaotic. So it's mostly a gathering of some facts. No proper structure.
