Yamaha New OEM Waverunner Handlebar Pack, MWV-HPACK-00-00

I use my Jetski for fishing and this pack is super for keeping the things you need often close and dry.

The straps to attach the bag are too short and do not fit the waverunner at all. Very POOR design as it would never fit the steering area with the shortness of the straps and to add additional velco would compromise the integrity of the attachment. The price is outrageous and they charge $12+ to return it even though it has no use. Very disappointed and angry!!

The only problem I had with this is that the straps are not long enough to work with my 2013 WaveRunner. But it was an easy enough fix as I had some double-sided Velcro in the garage. I just added some on there to make it long enough. Other than that, physics take over and instead of staying up on the "face" of the handle bar pads, it slips down toward the glove box. But, it stayed connected all through the ride to Bimini and back.

This product is awesome to have on your Jet Ski/Wave Runner. It provides extra space and holds your phone and wallet in a seal tight plastic sleeve. It has a hole at the bottom for drainage as the entire bag is not waterproof but water resistant. Love the functionality of the product. The design, however, needs modification! Who ever came up with the idea of using velcro strips to connect the bag to your handlebars? The velcro strips fall off when you remove them and get lost. It doesn't feel secure at all. I modified the bag by purchasing this from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KTVG0KI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 along with some Buckle side connectors (like you find on a backpack). I melted the strap to the existing strap on this bag and connected the buckles and now I have a perfect solution that is adjustable to any size wave runner. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you do this and just discard the velcro pieces that this comes with. I had to give it 2 Stars because of the work required to correct this bag. If you spend $46 on a bag, you are not expecting so much work to modify the bag so that its secure on your wave runner. Perhaps the manufacturer will modify future designs to included an adjustable system like I installed. Until then, avoid unless you are willing to modify the bag. The velcro strips are cheap and do not work well.

It is marketed that it fits a Yamaha FX cruiser but the straps don't fit. Way too small. Now I'm stuck with a product that is useless.

Product is no good. Doesn't fit my Jet Ski. Says it fits but it doesn't. The strPs are too short. Bad 👎Bad

The bag is well designed for the simple fact the straps are too short. Make and model compatibility chart would help to make an educated buy. I have a Yamaha VX cruiser HO and doesn't fit. You will need to purchase extended straps. Again, the bag is well designed for that one simple fact the straps are useless.
