Excellent mid-priced gauge
Mitutoyo is a great name for mid-priced tools that work. I have several of their digital measuring devices and they work great. This gauge is every bit as well made as ones that are twice as much money. Very accurate and made very well. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it comes in a nice little plastic zip-locking pouch.

Good center gauge for threading on a lathe
This is a well made fish tail gauge for threading on the lathe. Not much to say other then it's nice, exactly as it should be. It comes in a small vinyl protective pouch.

It's nothing fancy or high quality, but you definitely get your moneys worth.If you're doing small time projects, this is exactly what you need, if you're looking more long term manufacturing, spend the money to buy a higher quality one.

Disappointed
Mitutoyo makes tools that are so good that you know it is heirloom quality. This does not hold up to that standard. The only markings that are inked are the brand and part number. The stampings are not as well defined as they should be. It is a functional tool, but it is not of their usual quality.
