Brilliant!Works with my LG 43UK6400PLF model that I bought only a few weeks before.I know it seems pricey for a remote but it's brilliant and the LG Smart TVs really benefit from it compared to standard remote controls.Easy to connect. Switch on TV (with regular remote), long press the scroll wheel on Magic Remote until the TV says it's now connected. Done!It's so intuitive to use. Like using a wireless mouse but far better, and easier to navigate a smart TV with all their features.Love the voice recognition feature. That's easy to set up with help of your smartphone, and combines LGs ThinQ technology with Google Assistant so you get best of both worlds for voice recognition. If you don't know what it does and what it can do for you, just ask it! It will pop up a ton of things voice assistant can do for you! Brill!It's also ergonomically pleasing and comfortable to handle. It's been designed well and moulded to the grip of your hand.I know it seems really expensive but it's absolutely without a doubt worth it and you get a better smart TV experience as a result. The bog standard remote than comes with your TV is left in the dust compared to the magic remote.10/10

Update..lost control and can't remember how I did it. Aargh..think an update caused it.Got it yesterday, had it working TV and sky q within 3 mins..few minor problems but have found a way around some already. I found no way to get to sky guide but turning off "stb" and back on does the job. Pause TV on sky has to be done via voice, then you can use the remote to re-start, forward or reverse. It also works in Nvidia shield TV, plus shields Netflix and Amazon prime. Picture is even more amazing when running it through shield. Better than sky q and the Freeview/Freesat. LG TV UK 6300plb 2018 TV also a great buy..I got mine via sky.

I hate anything to do with setting up TV's. This was so easy - just put the batteries in and it works straightaway. Very pleased with the purchase.

LGs voice controls are expensive. This one is limited to some 2018 models only. They are not interchangeable. This was for LG55UK6470PLC and works fine. Some controls on the standard remote are not present, but most can be called up by the voice controls which are ThinQ - that is intuitive, which is mostly the case. I also use Google Home and the two can be linked so that OK Google commands and LG work together. This gives a huge range of utility for voice commands. The pointer can be used at various angles and sometimes needs to be 'waggled' across the screen for best effect. It all needs a bit of patient but great fun to use and the way forward. Oh, and it doesn't eavesdrop: you are only connected for commands when you press a button.

Great bit of kit, easy to set up and a lot faster at internet browsing etc with on screen cursor so no tip tapping on buttons.

If you have a mobile phone download the app. It's just as good as this remote.If you want to use a sky Q box it's not for you, it's not designed well for that. To fast forward you can skip minutes, to fast forward you need to press the remote button, you get a tiny amount of things you can do, it's that long winded I use my sky remote.The voice like the sky box you have to press a button to talk, if you search again its limited on where it searches,mainly YouTube or the web.What I'm most disappointed with is the quality ive not had it long and the buttons are badly worn, I mainly use my sky remote and that's fine. LG weren't interested.It's that poor that after 4 months I would sell it but it looks awful so who would buy it.
