Mea Culpa - I Originally Gave These 2 Stars
...and that was because I'd tried viewing a few images--specifically some wire-frame animations--and was having trouble with the left lens passing both colors. Tried different glasses, which had the same problem. Turns out not all anaglyph images are created equal! Just search "anaglyph images" and you'll find tons of stuff that doesn't resolve well, but lots that look fantastic. So... my bad. These glasses work fine, it's just that some of the images out there apparently don't have quite the same color-set.

Red Lens Doesn't Work
The red lens of these glasses has an unexpected blue tint which unfortunately allows the blue image from 3D films to pass through, as seen in my photo. This makes these glasses completely useless for 3D films since the left lens lets in both images. As a result, the glasses fail to deliver the necessary separation of images required for viewing blue/red 3D films effectively. Don't purchase these glasses for use in blue/red 3D films, they will not work.

Easy decision
Highly recommended to watch 3D anaglyph videos on YT or DVDs. Jaws 3D looks amazing. Such a cheap but thrilling experience.

Good cyan filter, but not compatible with glasses
Unlike many 3-d glasses on Amazon, these have a genuine cyan filter--not the dark blue one that gives an inferior result. Unfortunately, though, they aren't sized to fit over glasses. You'll have to wear your contacts instead. They're also extraordinarily easy to scratch. If you can live with their imperfections, you'll be pleased with the 3-d effect and color rendition.

Great for viewing old 3D comics
Got them to experiment with anaglyph 3D images. I found that they work swell for viewing those old 3D comic books when the cardboard 3D glasses are lost or fallen to pieces. Much more comfortable than cardboard glasses, too.

Fun Fun Fun
Nothing cooler than old school 3 d!

Nope
Glasses are more flimsy than the cardboard ones; plus, they are huge. The 3-D kinda works in both lenses, per other reviews. Bottom line the glasses are not worth it.
