Q: I have non-movable crossbars. What are the required distances between the crossbars that are needed to mount?

With the universal mounting you can theoretically have cross bars that have the following distances between them : 10 inches 20 inches 30 inches There's a very small amount of wiggle room but your cross bars need to be very close to one of those distances. So, if your cross bars are 25 inches apart, you won't be able to mount this platform using the universal mounting system.
