Q: Does the Chipotle Pepper marinarde taste really salty?

No, it doesn't taste salty at all. This is one of my favorite marinades. If you use it to marinade more than 1 pound of meat, use 2 packages. You can bake the meat in the oven but it tastes spectacular on the grill.

Q: How many packets are in a box? My last order had 12.

Q: How would this be mixed in with ground beef for hamburgers, not used as a marinade?

If I have to do so, then I suggest mixing it with meat and not adding any salt or pepper. This spice package should be good for about 2 lbs of ground meat. This definitely will give you some heat and smokey taste...enjoy.

No it doesn't taste sweet but you can mix it with some mayo, sour cream, honey, mustard and apple vinegar (easy on the vinegar) and it would give you a great salad dressing
