Rugged and functional
It does exactly what it says it does. The limit is the hp you are towing with. I hooked on to 27" solid locust about 8ft long. My sportsman 400 in low 4x4 struggled but skidded out of the woods. I highly recommend for anyone logging out a small woods that needs to fit through tight places. Customer service was great also!

Great product, cheap bolts...
The only reason I'm giving this 4 instead of 5 stars are the bolts that connect the drawbar to the skidder frame. I've broken (tension breaks, i.e., the metal failed when pulling logs) both of the ones that shipped with the skidder. I've upgraded them with Grade 8 yellow steel bolts (bolt depot) and the problem appears to be solved. So if you're going to use this to move big pieces of wood, e.g., 12 ft long, 20+ inch diameter oak or 17 ft long, 20+ inch diameter pine, you should upgrade the bolts BEFORE you use it. I'm probably going to have to repair the drawbar at some point but that would probably have happened anyway sooner or later.

Weakness.
This is a weak log heister, Make sure you do not exceed 1200 lbs. The metal is to thin. I have broken it several times, The metal is simply not thick enough.
