It is for me but your mileage may vary. Bone conduction headphones like these sit outside the area where most glasses sit.

Q: I will use these for calls and do not want background noises picked up. Do these suppress background noises during calls?

When it was used to make calls the other people said I sounded like I was in a tunnel and had background white noise.

Q: Is it waterproof/sweat proof?

These are sweat and water proof! Don't wear in a pool submerged under water, but definitely great for a workout or light rainy!

Q: Can others hear my music when I have them on?

No, I ask people all the time if they can hear what I do, and the answer is NO! LOVE these headphones!
