It’s strong, and I love my coffee strong.But I have to use a little less grinds. Very smooth! I let like I was back in Vieanna!! It is like an espresso grind.

Well, I have never been to Vienna. However, I used to absolutely love a Viennese blend sold by Gevalia that was called Cafe Sperl. I enjoyed this coffee so much that it ruined me for all others. Unfortunately, they discontinued that coffee.I continued to drink coffee, but I never enjoyed it in the same way, always knowing there was something so much better out there that I just couldn't have anymore. I searched in vain for a similar flavor for years, and even quit drinking coffee for the past year except on a rare occasion.When I saw this coffee on Amazon, I thought, "Hm, maybe . . . " Alas the search is over. From the moment I opened the vacuum sealed pouch, I smelled the familiar delicious aroma and saw the same texture and beautiful color of finely ground perfection. This is the same as my beloved Cafe Sperl. Once again I have reached coffee nirvana!

I am a huge coffee snob, but this coffee has worked for me every time. I’ve used it with moka, pour over, and French press and each time it is a velvety comforting cup.
