Cuisinart CMW-110 Stainless Steel Microwave Oven, Silver

I bought this awhile back, so far everything is good. Heats nicely and evenly, it runs quietly. I like the 30 sec button feature. This is a great microwave for a small family. This would not be large enough for a large family.

Love this microwave! A little smaller than the one we had previously that died (not a cuisinart). Love that this one does not beep incessantly if you don’t open the door right away when it’s done cooking/heating. Our old one did that and it drove us crazy. It cooks potatoes perfectly on the potato setting. I’ve used it for reheating. I usually cook on the stovetop so don’t use the microwave for anything other than reheating or veggies. I don’t care for the beverage setting because it doesn’t make things hot enough - but not really a big deal as I just use the timed cook and set a cup of water for about a minute and 20 secs.It’s great for our needs and we are happy with it.

Gave this only 4 stars so that it can be revised to a 5 if able to. Sorry to see that there are negative reviews regarding the lifespan of this microwave. Hope that this doesn't happen to this one.First of all, this one is much smaller that the one we had before (GE- Model # JES2051DN3BB) purchased at a store. It lasted exactly 2 years, 5 months before catching on fire. That one, btw was 1200 watts & was larger in size than the Cuisinart CMW-110.So far, it is operating as it should. My favorite feature? The child lock on it. I won't go into details as to why, but it wasn't mentioned in the description, which made it a great surprise. My adult son & I love this feature.Granted, the lower wattage (1000) is slightly slower, but not so slow as to make one impatient. Performance so far has been acceptable. Haven't used 100% of the features at this time, but most likely will as needed. The only feature that will not be used is the popcorn one. Reason being is the chemical makeup of microwave popcorn, and the fact that both my husband & myself were advised by our Dr. not to consume any popcorn due to health reasons.So far, only one feature is a little "off"; but that might be due to the fact that we don't make large enough potatoes, resulting in potatoes that are slightly overcooked. Everything else has worked fine.The learning curve on the directions weren't too bad, & with constant use, became user-friendly within a short time.Will return with an update on this before the year is over. Hopefully, it will still be a positive one.

I've had this for a couple months, and I love the one-touch cook. It's been easier to keep clean than the old Sharp unit it replaced. It's also a lot smaller for the same interior size which was a surprise.I like that it doesn't have AI and isn't internet connected. It just cooks my food like I tell it to.

I loved the microwave for years before the corrosion began. The microwave is not what I thought it would be after sections started to corrode and have taken over the entire microwave. My mother has the same microwave and the same corrosion is occurring. There are 3 people in my home and one person in my mother's home using the same microwave model. I think we bought them the same year. My mom's purchase was made on Amazon, but under different account that she no longer has access to. Very disappointed in this microwave, I had great hopes this was the better microwave for the price i paid for it. The first set of pictures were from my mom's microwave and the second set of pictures were from my microwave.

I purchased this very average microwave because Cuisinart has a reputation for reliability. It has 1000 watts (medium) power and cooks at medium speed.ProsThe microwave is very quiet in operation.The 12" turntable handles large casseroles.The keypad is easy to use. Buttons 1-6 are one-touch, and start cooking immediately. The Cook Time button must be pressed first for cooking longer durations. The Power Level button is pressed only once and must be followed by pressing a number to indicate power level. Pressing Start by itself provides 30 seconds of full power cooking.ConsThe display does not indicate when cooked food is ready to be removed. If you miss hearing the beeps at end of cooking, there is no way of knowing if the microwave is empty or contains cooked food. It should display "done" or "end" instead of 0:00.The inside color is an ugly dark gray instead of white, and it is more difficult to see whether food is turning in the microwave while cooking. The dark color hides spills and splatter, but I would rather have a white interior that I can be sure has been cleaned.If the Defrost (by) Weight command is set to less than four ounces, the Start button will not work and mimics a faulty keypad. The display does not indicate an error. The software should allow defrost at 1-3 ounces even though it will be ineffective. This is the only command I have found so far that disables the Start button.The clock displays only 12-hour, not 24-hour time, but does not need to be turned on. It would be nice to have both display settings.

We don't need a large microwave anymore and have been using the countertop ones for a few years. Our first one only lasted a few years(another brand), I decided to pay a little more this time around. So far this microwave is much better than the previous unit. It is much quieter. The inverter technology makes a large difference in reheating and defrosting over our previous unit.

My larger microwave went out and just purchased this just to have one. It is so quit can’t hardly hear it running. So far I really like it and it’s a really nice looking one.
