Exceeded my expectations. One of the best educational toys I’ve got for our toddler
This is easily one of the best educational toys I’ve got for my toddler! It consists of a wooden base with two felt hands on one side and engraved numbers on the reverse to help your child learn to count and write numbers, respectively. There are two stands that can easily be positioned to hold the toy up for tabletop use.For the writing side, there is an ergonomic wooden pencil that slots into the designated holder for storage. One possible design improvement I would suggest is a small piece of elastic or Velcro strap to secure the pencil in its holder whilst using the reverse side of the board., Each number (0-9) has directions/instructions beside it to teach the user how to write the number. On the hands side, each finger has a Velcro tip so that it can be folded and stuck down to help work out one of the included sums.A small removable shelf can be placed under the hands to hold the sum card and/or the wooden numbers for the sum. There are 10 double-sided cards included, five for addition and five for subtraction. They are colour coded for ease, and, as well as having the written sum on them, they also have each number represented by fingers on a hand to help the user replicate the equation using the physical hands on the board. This helps them to work out the answer. Personally, for the subtraction cards, I’ve found it easier to teach our 3-year-old how to do the sum using just one of the hands, so we disregard the images on those cards.Included in the set of wooden numbers are a +/- block and a >/= block. Given there aren’t any ‘more or less than’ cards, I hadn’t expected this on the reverse of the equals sign, and I feel it isn’t age-appropriate to introduce to my child yet. However, I guess it offers a degree of longevity to the toy, though I would have thought the natural progression from addition and subtraction would be multiplication, followed by division. To store the toy tidily back in the box, the hands rotate on the base. It takes seconds to assemble and disassemble. This has exceeded my expectations, and, more importantly, my toddler enjoys using this educational toy. I would certainly recommend it to others, so much so that I have just purchased another for a friend’s child.

Supportive and engaging for a dyslexic learner. Highly recommend
This Montessori learning toy has been a fantastic find for my girl who is dyslexic and struggling with early literacy and numeracy. Even basic tasks like tracing numbers or letters can be a real challenge, but this toy makes it feel less intimidating and more like play. The set is thoughtfully designed and really engaging—it includes wooden number tiles, finger counting hands with velcro, and a number tracing board. The tactile elements are especially helpful for a child who benefits from hands-on learning. My girl loves flipping the hands and using the velcro fingers to build sums, which has made the abstract concept of numbers much more concrete and accessible. The number tracing board on the reverse side is a gentle introduction to writing practice, and although my child finds tracing difficult, the deep grooves help guide the movement and improve hand-eye coordination without overwhelming them. It’s not a magic fix, but it definitely encourages confidence and curiosity. The pieces are sturdy and safe, with smooth wood and rounded edges. It holds her attention, which is no small feat, and the bright colours and interactive elements keep learning fun rather than frustrating.Overall, this is a brilliant tool for any child who needs a bit of extra support with early maths and number recognition—especially those who are neurodivergent or have additional learning needs. Highly recommend.

Fantastic item for reinforcing numbers and mathematical ideas
The reason I am deducting 1 star from the 5 is because my board is the other way round to the item pictured. The space to put the little shelf is above the hands rather than below the hands. It’s not too much of a problem but it would be better if the shelf was underneath. The other problem I have with this item is the way numeral 1 is presented. It’s the European way of writing number 1 and my wife works in a U.K. school teaching children that a number 1 is just a straight line. Apart from these two hiccups, it’s a fantastic idea and ai love the way the fingers fold down giving children the opportunity to represent numbers but still have their hands free to count. I would recommend this item 100% even with the small problems.

A thoughtfully designed learning tool, amazed to see how helpful it is
This toy strikes a wonderful balance between fun and education. It’s beautifully made, thoughtfully designed, and genuinely helps with skill development, from early math to handwriting and fine motor control. Right out of the box, the quality stood out, solid pine wood with smooth edges, no sharp corners, and a sturdy feel that reassured me about its safety and durability. On one side, the interactive hands with attachable fingers immediately caught my daughter's interest. It's such a clever way to introduce addition and subtraction without any pressure. On the flip side, the tracing board is a quiet-time favourite. It's a great mix of math and handwriting practice, which is surprisingly hard to find in one toy.Despite a couple of small areas for improvement on longevity of the Velcros, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other parents or even preschool teachers. A fantastic gift that actually teaches something valuable.

Fantastic set, educational and fun in same time
Great product and perfect educational tool! Well thought out and designed, engaging and fun in the same time. My 4yr old has learned how to read and is now showing interest in counting and early math and this was perfect. She loves using the hands on the board and the tracing pen. Great value for the price and would highly recommend it.
