I have a small dog who has lost a few teeth so I worry about crunchy food being difficult for her to eat. She also doesn’t love dry kibble on its own. I’ve been feeding her this yummy food in gravy - she prefers it to pate - for quite some time (maybe a couple of years) and she has never gotten tired of it. It’s nice and soft, and she loves it.The packets are so convenient and cleaner than having to open and store opened cans and it can always be room temp unlike when I would open cans and refrigerate the leftovers until the next meal.It is high quality, always consistent, easily portable for our road trips, and of course as I said, she loves it. This will be part of her nutrition for life. :)

We got these because the cans weren't able to be ordered and we were in a pinch. We have an 8lb puppy (rat terrier) and a 25 lb dog (mini schnauzer). They go through about a pouch of day, mixed in with their kibbles and a little fresh chicken. That makes the 24 pouch packs ($7-$8 on Amazon) last almost a month (or $2/week) which is a fantastic deal. However, a much bigger dog would have issue with the size of each portion. I'd imagine they are PERFECT for travel, however, as the pouches are so convenient to pack, stack, store, etc. And less work than a can; plus, we don't have to store a big can of half used dog food in the fridge for days until they finish it, which is nice. I also like how they can stand up on their own, so we make a little row in our pantry.Flavor wise, they LOVE it. Unlike most canned food, which can congeal and be cold/hard/jelly-like once put in the fridge, this stuff has gravy and little flakes/chunks in it, which they really like. The bonus is each pouch is served at room temp every time, since there isn't enough (like a big can) to store.The ONE thing that is negative for me is the waste; I wish they used a more environmentally friendly packaging for this, like recycled plastic, or one of the more modern fibers that act like plastic without the damage. The cans are better in that metal is more easily made and recycled.

The best advice I can give on this great dog food is the price vs what certain stores jack up prices on it. Both my dogs live this brand. The large pieces gas them eating 2 packs at a time. They get fed only 1 but the max is 3 per day for the size of my pups.

I would buy a couple of pouches at store. Decided to start buying in bulk. My two dogs just the taste, especially the filet minion flavor. They think they're getting a treat mixed in with the dry food.

Always buy in bulk when I get low on supplies for my fur babies

I bought this for My daughter’s dog. She was getting picky about her food and started eating the cat’s food. When we put this on her did she devoured it! And She’s not looking for the cat’s food anymore! What a life saver and definitely worth the small cost!
