Zojirushi CW-PZC22FC Micom Super Boiler 2.2L, Floral

I love this water boiler. My coworkers and I use it daily, mainly for hot water for tea. It's reliable and easy to use. The cleaning is simple and they have a path for descaling (deeper cleaning). I wanted to get a Zojirushi brand boiler to replace our decade old boiler and this was excellent both in features and price. It has a button to depress that pumps the water vs a mechanical pump. I was fine with that and actually prefer the simplicity, but wanted to note that is a key difference from other models. For the price, it made sense that the water output was controlled that way and we like it.

Zojirushi boilers are great. We love our 3L model. We were looking for a smaller one for another spot and thought that the 2.2L model could be just the ticket.Not so, as the 2.2L is taller than the 3L and has a similar footprint.It performed great, though it is a little splashier than the pumped spout of the 3L. Returning the 2.2L only because it wasn't actually smaller.

If you like having hot water ready for you at the touch of a button her ya go.

Not as high quality as Japanese Tiger brand, especially when it comes to the cap construction, but it works for over a year now without major or minor issues.

This is amazing! Whenever I want some oatmeal, a cup of noodles or some piping hot tea all I have to do is use my hot pot and I never have to wait for a microwave or kettle to heat up. Its easy to use, easy to clean and works like a charm!

I had to return the product shortly upon arrival for the following reasons: 1.) Warning: Cancer & Reproductive harm (p65warnings.ca.gov) 2.) Made in China instead of being made in Japan. 3.) The inside is made of material that is neither glass nor stainless steel.** This information should be made available to potential consumers & thereby avoid returns resulting from wasting the buyer's time.

We have had this device now for a couple weeks and it has made the boss (wife) very happy!It works as advertised, keeps water VERY hot and is easy to refill.

This one model I purchased for my daughter back in May 2021. It died this Oct 2024. I guess I should expect this as it was manufactured in China, unlike my first one for myself, and that one lasted over 10 years as it was made in Japan. From the price point, it was considerable cheaper, but average per year cost for the one made in Japan comes out ahead. Just purchase another for her, but this time it was made in Japan
