Great product
This works great to show my veins. Works well in dark room and with a bright overhead light. It works with all the subtle red light variations available. Great product. Now when I have to draw blood I can do it with one prick.Only downside for this item is the charging is done via USB but with a small barrel connector and not a USB-C

Poor and pointless
First thing I noticed was how poor the build quality is - it's basically very lightweight, cheap plastic with poor quality buttons. The package also includes a dangerous plug adaptor - it's a bit weird in fact because you get a UK shaver socket to USB adaptor that the charging cable plugs into, but also a weird cheap plastic thing that plugs into a UK 3 pin socket and exposes a 3-pin socket but without the safety shutters. I'm not sure if this is meant to be some kind of universal adaptor - the included 2-pin USB adaptor doesn't fit it. Whatever it's meant to be it's dangerous and not UK safety compliant.Initially the device worked (for about 30 seconds) off the rechargeable battery, but then suddenly went off. Plugging it in made the light work again, but it refused to charge. Note the connection to the charging port is VERY insecure - the hole cut in the plastic is too big for the connector so it wobbles around - this is likely to result in the charging pin breaking before long.As far as the light goes - it's just red light, nothing special - not particularly bright - my bike rear light is just as good, in fact either my bike light or my white phone light are just as good at illuminating the veins in my arms.In short, I cannot recommend this item.
