Not great for plants
Update: I wanted to love this product, but it does not work. The gnats in my plants grew more and more out of control until I decided to go back to Mosquito Bits. They are messier but they work. The gnats were reduced by 90% after one week/dose, and down to 95% after the second. I'll use for a couple more weeks until the gnats are gone.I've been using Mosquito Bits to control fungus gnats in my houseplants for several years. They work well but require soaking, straining, then disposing of the bits, which is time consuming and messy. And it can be hard to guage how much to make to water all of my 60 plants. These drops are so much easier to use. I put 1 or 2 drops in a gallon of water, then water the plants. No soaking, no clean up. If I need more I make another gallon. I've used them for two weeks and immediately reduced the gnats to just a few caught on my sticky traps. I will use for a few more weeks to be sure to break the entire life cycle. I will use on all new plants and new soil.I got the small bottle because it appeared to come in a dropper bottle (inside a plastic jar), even though it cost more per ounce. Convenience is worth the price. This bottle should last a long time even if I use it every week.Absolutely recommend to all indoor planty people.

Fungus gnat control!
Easy to use & bottle last a long time. Used for fungus gnat control in my propagation & seed sowing. Fungus gnats are always a problem winter thru spring. Previously used nematodes and Azaguard but this is taking care of the problem without being a major project. It only takes a few drops per gallon of water! It is in every watering can full of water. This is in a commercial 100 x 40 ft greenhouse with a heated propagation bed (perfect for fungus gnat breeding too). A few native, local lizards and tree frogs always find there way in to winter in the sandy, moist, warm heat bed so I am careful what I use. If I need to water with a hose, I always follow with a sprayer of water and microbe-lift to wet down the plants and topsoil with it. It appears to be having a big effect on aphids and whiteflies too...not labeled for them but they have almost totally disappeared along with the fungus gnats.

Exactly what I needed for fungus gnats.
I've seen a couple reviews of people posting videos and pictures of the products being thick and not a liquid. I understand how that can be frustrating, but reach out to the seller before posting a bad review. Amazon and the seller are more than happy and quick to send you a replacement or refund. Those who steered away from buying this, because of poor reviews -- don't steer away! It's very unlikely you will receive an expired product. This is good stuff and worth it!!

Give it a few weeks to work for fungus gnats
I bought this for fungus gnats as a last ditch effort before buying beneficial nematodes. After a few weeks of use (less than 4 weeks) I don’t have any fungus gnats! I’ll buy it forever.

Really works!
Seems to be working well. We see far less nats.

best for Fungus Gnats for indoor plants.
The best for Fungus Gnats for indoor plants. Buy the smaller size which has a dropper. This size is for aquatic ponds.

Seems to be working well
A lot of houseplant influencers recommend this product because it works more immediately than mosquito bits so I couldn’t resist. As I understand, it’s typically used for things like aquariums and ponds, but it works for fungus nuts that show up in house plant soil. I was especially excited about this because I’m not that organized to plan in advance soaking mosquito pits before I water. I need something that works instantly. All the influencers have been saying that they use one single drop for an entire gallon, which feels a little too good to be true? I put two drops for a quarter gallon and had to start it to dissolve.I’ve tried a few rounds of it, and it seems to be working really well so far. My plants are all watered on different schedules, so I wasn’t able to do them all at one time which I know makes the gnat lifecycle challenging, but the plants that have been watered so far no longer have fungus gnats flying out of them when I poke the soil. How to use: I put two drops for quarter of a gallon but may continue to experiment with quantity over time. I normally like to bottom water my plants but this needs to be poured over the topsoil so that it can kill the gnat eggs that are buried in the shallow surface. So I use my watering can to top water a little bit and let the water drain into the catching cup, so the plant can drink the leftover water from the bottom.Oh, also, the quantity of this is huge! I should’ve bought the smaller one. This will probably last for years!I am currently trying to figure out if I can use this in addition to diatomaceous earth. There’s not a ton of information about it out there, so it will have to be a trial and error. Overall, I definitely recommend this!

Ehh
Keeps fungus gnats at bay but if I forget to water with it, they come back immediately.
