It's great but it could be more detailed, I was expecting the hood to open as that's usually the most fun part to see with all the mechanics. The bottom of the car is also lacking detail. It has a stand attached to the bottom of the car that is not removable so the kids can't even really drive it around. If you can't use it that means it's just for visuals, having more details like the hood/trunk opening and whatnot would have made up for that.

How much of this star rating is based on my grandson's love of all motor vehicles vs. this specific one? I do not know. He loves cars. All sizes and styles. It's fun to make him select one overall of them though. This was in the running for a long time and that was mostly for the color blue, his brother's favorite. Not sure what I can say. Like the full-sized version this is economical, compact and cute so is this model car. All parts work great and it will last forever. Great value. Fun for hours and hours.
