I want to revise my review after spending some time with this particular trimmer/shaverPROS-lightweight-compact-holds good charge-usb c-many attachment points-good for close shavingCONS-produces uneven trim-leaves hair coarse-takes a very long time to trim evenlyI bought the Xpert T trimmer to replace a bulky trimmer in whicih the battery had gone bad. I travel full time and wanted to explore options that were light weight and charged with usb-C. I initially looked at the Philips One Blade system, but the idea of having to change blades every few months left little to be desired and seemed wastefulSo the amazon algorithm showed me the Xpert T and it looked fantastic. Upon arrival, it seemed to be everything I had wished for - it was compact, light weight, and seemed capableAfter a few weeks with this, I regret buying this trimmer. I don't have the strongest mustache, I like to leave it looking trim on a setting of "3" and this trimmer has such a hard time doing its job. I have to go over the same area dozens, if not 100 times, just to no longer hear the sound of hair being cutAfter that, the cut is not what i'd call even, leaving my facial hair slightly patchy. On top of that, the ends of my facial hair are left quite coarse, leaving me to suspect the sharpess of the bladesI think this product works best without any attachment, when you want to shave close. So its good for shaping my goatee, but thats about it.I do not recommend this product

update: hopefully it's just a case of defective product and not design. I was offered a blade replacement without even asking for one. and that put the company in a very positive light for me. I've had bad experiences dealing with other companies in the past, so this company reaching out first to make things right, really made my day. I'll update the review when I'll get the replacement.i liked it until yesterday's morning when the blade just feel off while shaving. I managed to collect all the pieces and the metal support is too weak for the vibration ughh.

I’ve used other electric shavers for years and this one is my by far my favorite, and obviously better than a manual blade. You have to replace the blades, but it is well worth it in my opinion. Very close shave, no irritation, and I cut the time it takes to shave in half. Big fan of this product.
