Was envied by other hikers
Although this stove is a little heavy it works amazing. 16 days on the Appalachian trail and I only used a half can of fuel and I used it a lot. Next to people using a jet boil and it boiled faster at a much better price. The people using the pocket rockets were using 3 times the fuel to do the same thing.

Ignition button broke
Really loved this stove!... Took this on a backpacking trip on the Appalachian Trail. Unfortunately, the ignition trigger broke after only 3 days of use, which meant I could no longer light the stove properly. When I pressed the button, the spring shot out and button popped out of place. I really want to give this product another try, because I think the one I received was defective. I only gave 1 star because on a backpacking trip, you need a stove you can rely on. I know I can still light the stove with a lighter, but having the ignition button was one of the main perks of this product for me, and it did not last more than 3 days.***edit:After contacting the seller, they worked with me to send me a burner replacement so that I could give this product another try with a proper ignition button. I originally gave 1 star due to the unreliability of the ignition button, but updating to 4 stars. The seller was easy to communicate with and fair, and I’m looking forward to using this stove for future backpacking trips.

this thing is insane. a must have for camping, or any mobile cooking.
Okay, so the only thing I can see wrong is the instructions and feature details, but not hard to figure out. First thing that was concerning was the crazy price of a little can of fuel. I was quite dissapointed, but I tell you what. It lasts 5x as long as propane..... you do the math. The cheapest propane deal is 3 bottles for 8-9 bucks. 1 small isobutane can is 6-7bucks. ... however, that's 5 cans of propane... 15-25 dollars worth. At least that's how it seems. I can only tell you that I bought 2 cans for a 1 week trip, and only busted out the second can at fish camp (1 month ordeal) don't walk away from it. This isn't your typical light it up, go to the bathroom, check facebook, and come back and wait. It boils water in like a min and a half. If you are cooking food, use it on low and stir often. Starts burning food in like 15 seconds. Things I learned on my own. It's built around the small fuel canister. Feet folded in the bottom. Burner on top of that, then the can, then the pan stand. The lid seals the top of the fuel can, so no need for the cap that came on the can. The rest is easy to figure out or read. Stuck/burned food can be boiled off then wipes right out. No need to scrub. Try not to get food on the foam "cozy" get yourself a french press and shave 20 min off your morning coffee. If you've been on the fence because of the jet boil $200 price tag, you won't regret getting this instead. It will pay for itself in a few camping trips, aand save your sanity. Did I mention that it takes up half the space of my stanley thermos OOOf the same capacity?

So in love with this stove
I can not stress how much i love this stove. As a single mom who is mot used to being the one playing with fire i was nervouse to use this but a family backpacking trip dictated i get something so after lots of review reads and how to videos i made the jump. Not only did it work perfectly for me but everyone else wanted to use it to. The protected fire ment hot water faster then their open flame stoves using less gas heating ut up. The hard handle makes for super easy safe pouring and having thw unit self contained in the bag was huge. The jet boil 220gram will fit in the stove pot and allow it to still close the coleman while still running it is to tall to close it . The ease of use and push bottom start ment i could function this day or night light or dark . Best camping backpacking purchase i made

Awesome stove.
This stove is great. The guys in my unit that have jet boils are jealous that I paid so little for this and it performs the same if not better. It is a little difficult to clean in the field as sometimes things get stuck to the bottom of it but that could just me be my fault for being impatient and cooking it too hot. Regardless, I’d rather have this than pay for a jetboil any and every day.

Does everything it is made for.
Used this for campi and hunting trips. Light weight, durable. And does a great job at providing a heat source.

Valid alternative to Jetboil.
We used it to make some ramen. It performed beautifully. Great value and performed flawlessly at a fraction of the cost of comparable units. Very satisfied with the build and design. I made the right purchase.

Awesome cooking system!
Better than the leading name brand. Has a handle and is bigger. Boiled water faster too! Great product.

The best for me.
I say the best for me, because there is the JetBoil and the MSR, which I am sure are great products. But they are 2 and 3 times the price. So, unless it is a live or die situation, I cannot justify the extra cost and not sur the FireMaple is inferior in any respect. Boiled a cup of water in 2 min, heated a 540ml can of soup in a few minutes and stayed hot for quite some time in the insulated cup. The first one I received was not assembled properly, returned and the second was perfect. I am very happy with this product and would definitely recommend it to anyone. I only wish the product line was a little more extensive. Dave & The Girls

Didn't work well at first but now good
The media could not be loaded. I am giving only 4 stars since the first time I used this stove it took a long while to boil 2 cups of water and I only got small bubbles, not a good rolling boil. Tried the day after and it didn't want to light up at first and then bam! It started roaring like it should. It must have been something blocking the nozzle or valve (tried two different cans of fuel so it has to be the stove). It boiled 4 cups of water in less than 6 minutes which is very impressive. Shut it off and restarted it and now works great all the time. Also, you should know this item is not returnable according to the fine prints....

Nice and fast stove
Lightweight, easy to set up. Fast water boiling (if no strong wind). One disadvantage for me - inside the pack fits only with smallest gas tank, I carry bigger ones separately.

Just as good as jetboil
Bought this to boil water for camping to make coffee, it works amazing take about 3-4 mins to bring to a boil. Also the jet boil 450g canisters work great on it. And it comes with the frying pan adapter where the jetboil one you have to buy separate.
