Rare handy feature
This is a sturdy and compact radio. The sound quality and output is ideal for my needs: speech. I have found that a rare feature in personal radios is the ability to pair with Bluetooth earbuds and the J-618 does just that. So handy for listening to podcasts while moving about the house without lugging the laptop around, using the speaker or headphones. Battery life is reasonable considering Bluetooth consumption. A very useful product at an affordable price. Perhaps Prunus will consider a DAB/DAB+ version of the J-618.

Portable FM Radio
Excellent sound quality with even smooth bass what surprised me. Bluetooth is unique because you can use it as a portable speaker or connect it to a headphones. Aerial is not so fragile like on some portable radios and reception is decent as well. Baterry 2000mAh is okay.Just missing RDS information of the stations and too bright light of the screen is little irritating.Hopefully that PRUNUS will make some impruved model in the near future with DAB reception to make this radio unbeatable.

Bluetooth Radio: The Little Gadget That Could
The Bluetooth radio is the little gadget that packs quite the punch. Connecting to Bluetooth headphones is great feature – no more wrestling with cables while out for a walk! Not only does it serve as a Bluetooth speaker, but it also moonlights as an MP3 player with a TF card slot, allowing your personal playlist to keep you company.Pros:- Versatile Connectivity: Bluetooth functionality for headphones and speakers, plus TF card support.- Impressive Sound: Clear and loud output whether using the built-in speaker or Bluetooth headphones.- Compact Design: Fits snugly in your pocket, making it your trusty travel companion.- Robust Reception: Advanced DSP chip and 25cm antenna ensure you catch your favourite broadcasts.- Rechargeable Battery: Long-lasting 2000mAh battery with USB-C charging – bid farewell to battery anxiety.- Practical Features: Sleep timer and presets for up to 99 stations – truly radio on your terms.Cons:- AM Signal Woes: Struggle with AM signal strength.- Stability: Lightweight design may topple easily outdoors.- Potential Confusion: Initial setup and understanding all features might be a bit tricky for some.Value for Money: At around £20, it’s a decent price, but better AM reception would make it unbeatable. In summary, this nifty radio is perfect for those who crave a mix of modern tech and classic radio charm. Just remember, the FM is strong, but the AM might leave you in static. For the price, it's a fine pocket-sized entertainment machine, especially when you don't have access to the internet!

Compact AM/FM radio with Bluetooth
Great little radio. I've been looking for a small AM/FM radio with Bluetooth for earbud connectivity. App on my mobile but that never worked well. No need to plug in wired headphones to provide aerial. Brilliant

Excellent sound and features, but weak battery
The media could not be loaded. This is rather different than other portable radios I have tried over the years, with some very positive points and one clear let down. First of all, it has to be said that the sound quality is good; really good for such a portable radio and at this price. The clarity is excellent without becoming brash or distorted at higher volumes. Better still, I rarely needed to extend the aerial to obtain a good reception. It is also genuinely small and fits in my hand easily. I like the look, though I found it slightly unstable and too easily knocked over if touched. The LCD readout gives it a precise, modern feel, though I would have liked it if the display also indicated the name of the station.Having the ability to hook up Bluetooth headphones is a real bonus if you want that; then there is the TF option, though I don’t know how many would use that these days. Then there is a timer function that will turn off after a designated period. In use, it is not complicated, but neither is it immediately intuitive, and I really did need to read the instructions. The one big let down for me is the battery. In theory, having a rechargeable battery is great, but as it says on the sales page, it lasts between 6-10 hours between charges, which is hardly saying goodbye to battery life anxiety. I have a small portable radio in the kitchen that is less stylish, but a couple of AA batteries that last months. A better battery would have made this a 5 star radio.

Bluetooth headset compatible finally
Excellent FM/AM digital radio; good reception, FM slightly better, which you would expect. The Bluetooth feature is what I really bought the radio for, and I have to say it's a game changer to be able to use Bluetooth earbuds with this radio. Hopefully, they will release a DAB version with the same feature. Highly recommend this little gem.

Really pleased with this excellent radio. Battery life is very good. Mostly used for AM, listening to talk sport and reception is more than decent. Very happy with my purchase and would definitely buy another.
