Did not work for me at all.
Not sure what stars should I give as it did not work for me. I follow the instructions and left on head for 4 hours. I have used Heena in past from 2007 to 2015 then stopped using as it gave me orange and red tone which my kids did not like. Shifted to color. Thought this one might work but no impact. Looks like color turned little green. Surprised me as it even did not turn light brown or orange. Can you pls check what’s the issue????

Not the results I wanted
I thought I would try a safer alternative for my graying hair and had used henna in the past. It smelled horrible, took all day between the prep and having to leave it on and the smell lasted on my hair for several days, it made me nauseous. At first the color was great and the coverage was even better, my hair seemed thicker and softer but within a week the color changed from dark ash brown to a lighter orange-y red. Oh, and do the suggested allergy test first. I skipped and and had horrible scalp itching and a slight body rash. It did resolve after a few days on its own. I suggest to the manufacturer that they try to add some natural perfume like lavender or rosemary, the smell was close to intolerable and I won't be using this again.

Didn't Cover All Gray; Time Consuming
I have never used a henna hair dye product before, and after a bit of research I realized this was going to be a more time consuming endeavor than I realized. First thing you must realize, you have to be careful of the other hair products you use with henna dyed hair because those chemicals can interact with the henna. So be mindful. Second, it takes a while to prepare and set up. Third, it didn't cover all of my gray. I really do love the idea of using products with less harsh chemicals, but this is pretty fussy without a big payoff.

Great natural option for dark brown hair, but read my detailed review first
I've been using henna products for a few years now since I don't like how chemical dyes dry my hair out, plus my hair is silky and smooth, and the color lasts until the hair grows out basically.I started with pure henha, and my naturally brown hair always had red shade in it cause of that, and lately with age I started getting tired of the red undertones. I started mixing it with indigo powder, it did give me a darker brown shade, even though the red still picks through until it completely grows out I assume. This is a much better option (Dark Brown version) when you don't have to mix anything, and it actually gave me the results comparable to one part henna to two parts Indigo. The color is pretty rich and somewhat darker. I'm going to attach a couple of photos of before and after, so you can see for yourselvesNow to the instructions, I see someone in the comments mixes it with hot water. Please don't do that. I used to do it, until I learned that it actually kills the dye and doesn't make it bind to your hair too well. So just mix it either with cold or warm water, let it sit for 2 to 3 hours as instructions require, and then apply to your hair carefully with the brush. If you've never done henna treatment before, it is very messy, you have to wear gloves, and you have to apply oil to your face, ears, and neck unless you want them to be stained for days. I use coconut oil, but could be any oil you trust to use on your face. It also stains your sink, so make sure to clean it quickly afterwards before the color sets in. Henna itself will stain orange, but this mix will stain it bluish green, just a heads up.I also have a separate towel (or you can use a dark towel) to use after the treatment, because the towel will be stained as well though might wash out eventually with time, unless it’s white.Once you applied carefully to the whole length of your hair, put a shower cap on to keep it warm and help it bind better, and rinse your hair after 3 to 4 hours. The instructions don't specify it, but from my experience with other henna products, you just have to rinse it first without using the shampoo, and use the shampoo only after 24 to 48 hours when the color is completely developed. Otherwise you will just wash out a lot of the dye before it had a chance to completely reveal itself. To me personally, this seems much easier than mixing my own Indigo and henna, because that means I don't have to make henna first, and then I have to add Indigo after a couple of hours and use it immediately, this was easier in that sense, and I think it's cheaper this way as well.So far I'm very impressed what the product, I love the ingredients, and there are only a few of them and all the good things. I'm definitely switching to this product from now on.

Subtle Change
I tried the ash blonde color on my brunette hair and while I did see a change in the tone, it was nothing significant and washed out quickly. Like all hair color, it would be more successful on lighter color hair.
