Great little device, did exactly what I needed in 1/10 the space.

Decent and heavy
This amplifier has a more industrial build quality. That is, it doesn't have soft edges and the best fit and finish. But it does have some heft to it. The metal toggle switch feels good and the Bluetooth didn't take too much time to connect. I did turn my phone's BT off then on again and it was there. Sound was on par with most affordable Class D amps out there, namely pretty good and totally serviceable. This has a good amount of power so I didn't have to crank it much at all. The power cord is a bit short, but it uses a standard computer style cord attached to the brick, so you can just get a longer one. Tone controls do what you would expect.I dropped a star due to a lack of a center tone control detent and that there appears to be some inaudible line noise coming through the amp even when it is turned off. I connected this amp to a VU meter and VU amp switch and the meters were picking up something regardless of if music was playing or not. I didn't hear anything though. No hiss either, which cheap amps sometimes have.

Powerful, compact, clean sounding!
Using this for a small speaker system running in my patio and it works great. I like the connectivity options and capabilities for both wired/connected devices as well as Bluetooth, and BT 5.3 is a nice touch for devices that are at that level, and of course it works fine with older BT devices as well. The speaker connectors/lugs are nice and easy to use via the insert and screw method or banana plugs, which is the route I went, and they are perfectly snug without being too tight or too loose. The sound quality is great over BT as well as when using the Aux 3.5mm input on the front, or the RCA's in the back. The optical offers a clean signal path for your PCM signals, I didn't try bitstream as there is no decoder for DD/DTS etc. but I had no problems at 24-Bit/48Khz for my PCM signals coming into it. Also there is a USB port which you can use for file playback but I am not sure what formats it accepts for USB media (FAT/FAT32/NTFS/etc) as well as what file formats it can play and at what specs (MP3/FLAC/WAV/Etc. and at what Bit-Depth and Sample Rate) but that can make it ideal for businesses that want to run their music from a curated list, without interruption or dependence on a data connection or other device. And because it has RCA outputs you can use it to relay that signal to another device that manages another zone or area etc. In a home environment it's handy because the outputs enable you to hook up a powered subwoofer to enjoy with your connected speakers. BT distance is pretty far on a newer gen BT device like 5.2/5.3, and strong on older 5.0 devices and earlier as well, just a lower distance of more like 30ft instead of 50-60ft on 5.2+ etc. Codec wise I didn't notice what it supported officially but playback sounded good and delightful. The amplifier itself is pretty powerful and can drive even a larger set of floor standing speakers at 8-Ohms a side, without struggle. However, the SNR is alittle on the lower side, so you have to make sure your incoming signal is as loud as you can get it without distortion/peaks and then feed this unit with that, because if you have to really peg the dial on the amplifier itself, things will get noisy and distorted pretty fast, but if you have a strong incoming signal, you can drive the amplifier a lot lower power wise to get the volume you want, without distortion or added noise. Speaking of noise, I didn't notice anything like it picking up cell phone traffic or anything like that, and it coexists with 2.4Ghz 802.11 networks just fine. The AK-3116 is a pretty good, compact, powerful 2-channel amplifier/stereo receiver that offers vonnection versatility and high power output, in a small package. Keep that amplifier dial down below 75% or so of maximum, with a decent input signal, and you will be pleased.Note: for BTor AUX users, ensure that your device's BT volume or media playback volume, or both, are set as high as they can go (or just shy of max) on your device, this is true if using a 3.5mm aux connection as well, you want the source signal as high as it can go (cleanly, without distortion or artifacts etc.) on it's way into the amp, then adjust the main volume on the amplifier to your desired level.

Didn't work for me
It already broke. It quit putting out sound, no matter what input i put it on. ( running one bittkicker on a sim rig using Bluetooth, tried all other inputs ) . Just bought a nobsound to see if that will hold up. My buttkicker original amp died too.

Nice little 2 channel amp
I've recently upgraded from a 7.1 surround sound system in my home theater, to a 7.1.4 Atmos system. (First number is the number of main speakers. Second is number of subwoofers. Third is number of ceiling speakers) As my Denon 3800H has an amp that can only power 9 channels, but can process up to 11. To run 4 ceiling speakers instead of just 2, requires one to use an external amp such as this one. I've selected for review 5 different similar amps from Vine to do the job of powering those ceiling speakers. This Facmogu is the one I've selected to use out of the 5.Pros:First and foremost. There's no background hiss, hum, what have you, when powered on and connected to speakers and no input signal is being sent. It's totally silent. 2 of the amps I tried totally failed at that. They made noise loud enough that I'd hear the speakers even if they're way up on the ceiling. Which makes those amps completely unsuitable for home theater use as picture having to hear noise during silent parts of a movie or TV show.Build quality is nice. It doesn't feel cheap. It's nice and compact.I tested it with SVS Satellite speakers. (Not shown in the pics because they hadn't arrived at the time I took the review pics. They're what I decided to go with as the pair of ceilings this will be powering) Klipsch RB-41 II (the other pair of ceiling speakers) Klipsch SB 1. And even those large 3 way speakers, the Pioneer S-HF41-LR. Which are 150w speakers. It drove all them wonderfully. I honestly don't know how loud this will drive speakers. I only made it half way up the volume knob before it got way too loud.It has a toggle switch instead of a button.Bluetooth connects quickly. There wasn't any signal issues.Remote works well. The numbers on the remote can be used to switch songs when input is playing off a USB flash drive. It accepts banana plugs.Doesn't have a screen so aside from some small LED on the front, there's nothing all that distracting as it sits under the TV.Cons:Though for my use as mentioned above it's nice, for other uses no screen is a drawback. For example, there's no way to know what song you're playing when using USB. So those numbers on the remote become really "hard to use." The numbers don't correspond to the song order that is on the flash drive. I tried reordering them on my PC but I just can't figure out how this amp orders the songs. So to use those buttons properly I'd have to go through each song and then write down what number goes with which song. Which is an annoying hassle and could take "ages" to do if you have a ton of songs on the drive. I wouldn't even bother to try. If I was going to use this with a flash drive I'd just end up leaving it on shuffle instead of trying to pick a specific song.I can't think of anything else to complain about so I'm really happy with this. 10 out of 5 stars. If you haven't checked out a nicely set up Atmos system, you're missing out. It's almost a high enough jump that one can say Atmos is to surround sound, what surround sound was to 2 channel stereo. And the only reason that almost is in there is not remotely as much is mixed for Atmos, as it is for 5.1 or 7.1.
