Excellent poodle shearing clipper!🐩
Love this clipper I have poodles and they definitely require a good quality trimmer, this one's great comes with guards, is easy to operate, it seems like a good quality one.I love how it has an on and off switch as well, instead of just a button or something I like having an actual switch.Comes in a case and with an apron, oil and a cleaner brush along with some guards. I wish the case was a little bit higher quality but for $56 I can deal with it, great price for a really nice clipper. Not run into any issues, it's performed beautifully and really doesn't require too much maintenance if you just keep it clean after use.I will say I wish that the blades were easy clip and removable blades, you can take the blade off obviously but it is the older style where you have to remove two screws to take the blade off which is kind of annoying, I like the removable blade clippers because when you're shaving a large dog they get hot and I like to trade them out to let one cool off but I'm okay with getting the cooling spray out for this one.Overall highly recommended feels super durable nice to hold excellent long cord and good size for a woman's hand to operate, highly recommended!Cheers

Works well !
Very easy to use, did a good job on my dogs. Only drawback is that it is a heavy clipper to use.

An impressive and well built clipper
Love the heavier weight and feel. It's a Wahl so you know it is a good product. Despite the heavier weight it is easy to handle, quiet and cuts hair very easily. I tried it on my own facial hair for starters and loved how smooth it cuts hair. The kit comes with 7 different height attachments. Combine that with the adjustable blade lever on the side of the clippers and you can cut to almost any desired length. The storage/handling case makes it very convenient to keep everything together and travel if needed. The other accessories are nice as well (oil, cleaning brush, comb and apron). Overall, while you might find a less expensive clipper you won't find a better built clipper.

Great for at home use
These aren't professional clippers, but they're a nice budget friendly option. One of our dogs only needs minimal grooming around her paws, and these work perfectly for that. I have a couple more expensive clippers, but they would be way overboard for her minimal use. These are corded, so you never run out of battery, but you have to be near an outlet obviously. With how our longer haired dog likes to run around whenever we do any type of grooming (nails included) a cordless option is a must. For our shorter haired dog who sits still for grooming, these are perfect. My dog is relatively skittish, but the low buzz of this clipper didn't freak her out that much.

High quality trimmer
I work in a veterinary hospital, and we beat the actual crap out of hair trimmers/removers. We have to shave fur around wounds (whether they're infected or not), shave for surgical procedures, and do some grooming - we are definitely NOT groomers, but some animals require heavy sedation/anesthesia and require medical monitoring to remain safe - so it's more of a damage control haircut than anything else. These trimmers remind me much more of a men's beard trimmer than many of the clippers we usually end up getting. It has the plastic guards to manage length (rather than removable metal blades). They function ok - but it took a little getting used to.The good:1) Corded, so you never run out of power.2) Blades are sharp.3) feel solid, not too heavy4) Comes as a kit in a nice carrying box, so you can keep it all together. The bad:1) Corded - so you're tied to the outlet.2) Blades aren't detachable - can't be sterilized3) comes with a "gown" like a barber uses - no dog or cat will ever need this.I don't think these would survive the level of wear and tear a real groomer would use - don't get these to start a business. For our infrequent heavy grooms, they're holding up fine (home use would also be fine). The lack of ability to sterilize is a concern for me as a medical provider - but it has yet to become an issue.
