Using on finished wood
I have been using this "steel wool" on some older finished wood that needs to be cleaned up with some citrus oil and beeswax combination. It has been working great without all the typical shards of real steel wool all over myself, the wood, and the floor. I think this is a nice substitute for the real stuff and it lasts much longer per piece.

Great results from a great product.
This stuff works great to finish off drywall. I use it quiet a bit and these guys shipped it fast and it really came in handy when I was reworking my bedroom. They shipped it fast an at a good price.

Nice pad but do note that it is only one pad
Given the standard price of steelwool I thought this would be a few pads, as is it was only one. This one was very nice and very well made but still a bit pricey for just one

Great! Never going back to regular steel wool.
This is so much cleaner to use. Does not leave rust or tiny pieces of steel fiber all over your hands, the desk. Works wet or dry. Rinse out with rubbing alcohol to keep new.

Good alternitive to steel wool
Item was received in good condition, was as listed, no issue with this order.Much nicer to use of wood finishing than steel wool it does not leave little metal slivers in the finish or more importantly none in your fingers.

It's fine. Extra fine, but bait and switch because the photo shows super fine.
I like the stuff OK. But I could have gotten it cheaper locally. Only bought online because the photo shows 0000 ("Super Fine") which I have not been able to get locally or online. Amazon is getting to be a game of avoiding trickery like this. May have to find a better place to shop?

Just what I was looking for.
I have used these pads on guitar fret board, chrome, auto parts and plastic wind shields for boats. They do not leave metal filings like steal wool does. (Important for guitars with pickup's (They are magnetic)) It did not scratch the chrome or the plastic. I have pick up my 2nd pack and I'm sure I will back for more. (Note: always test a small area to see how the material will respond to the pad before diving in at full speed. Always best to be safe.

Perfect choice for cleaning windows!
We moved into an old house with filthy windows. My husband fount these 0000 size steel wool pads clean our windows beautifully... they look like new!
