helps to relief the pain, but check with your doctor fist
I had terrible neck pains lately, due to the wrong posture in front of the computer, and my doctor advised me to get a traction device, which would help me to stretch my neck and release the pressure. When I saw this device, I found that this is exactly what I need.No matter how many times I red the manual, I was not able to set it up by myself, therefore I asked my doctor to help me with it, which I felt to be the best way to go forward, so that he can see and approve the device and help me to set it up.Apparently, if you know what you're doing, the setup is very easy and straightforward. All you have to do is set the device around your neck and build some pressure in the system, using the hand pump provided, so that the device will start to stretch your neck, decompressing the bones and releaving the neck tension. Now that the doctor has shown me how to do it, I can do all the setup myself without any issues.I wear the device only a few times a day, 10-15min each time. I have already noticed positive improvements, I stopped having pains in the morning. The device works great, but I would advise you to check it with your doctor and seek his approval and decision whether it is suitable to use this device for your situation.

Took some getting used to
There's a bit of learning curve to get this on so that it doesn't feel like it's trying to push my head off. I took it steady and made an effort not to force anything and eventually for it to a point where it was, if not comfortable then at least tolerable for a few minutes. At the end of the day it's forcing a structural change on your neck so it isn't meant to be comfortable, and once it is then it's done its job. This is very much how I've found it over the last couple of days, it gets just a little bit easier each time it's on.Build quality feels excellent and it's as sturdy as I'd expect something like this to be. The padding doesn't look like much but it does feel sufficient for the most part. There's a bit of a balance between function and tolerance where you need it to be uncomfortable enough to it's thing without making it a miserable experience and the padding is definitely on the right side of this.I can't really comment on the price as I have nothing to compare it with, but I can absolutely believe this to be worth £150.
